However, it is extremely difficult for wheelchair users to use escalators, and even if they get on the escalator with an attendant, they will not be able to place the wheelchair horizontally on top of the first step of the escalator; Since the user has no choice but to straddle steps and tilt the wheelchair, there is a high possibility that the wheelchair will fall, which is extremely dangerous.

In addition, it is often impossible to install special escalators that carry both wheelchairs and general passengers due to the structure of station buildings, etc.
Some places have escalators specifically for wheelchair users, but they have the disadvantage of having to be installed separately from the escalator for general users.

Regarding the use of the auxiliary trolley related to the separate application structured as described above, first, attendant C who has been pushing wheelchair B pushes wheelchair B near the escalator entrance.
, place the wheelchair B with the user on it on the auxiliary trolley prepared here, push the auxiliary trolley carrying the wheelchair to the escalator entrance (hereinafter, the case of the lower floor entrance will be described), At this point, the escalator driver stops the escalator and moves the cart to the lower stair horizontal part SL of the escalator step S.
Get into the position shown in the lower left figure and stop. After boarding the cart, the escalator is started and the escalator is stopped when the cart reaches the upper step horizontal portion SH of the escalator, thereby performing manual or automatic escalator operation. In this case, the attendant C lowers the hydraulic cylinder 7 by operating a switch in accordance with the stair formation movement from the bottom r@step horizontal part SL of the escalator, and the step contact body 9 at the lower end of the piston rod 7a
is brought into contact with the step surface, and by its pushing up action, the rear wheel side of the trolley body 1 on which wheelchair B is placed is raised using the front wheels 4 as a fulcrum, as shown in the middle diagram of Figure 2, and the wheelchair is kept in a horizontal state at all times. Move upwards while maintaining it. Immediately before the escalator step S moves from the staircase part SK to the upper stair step horizontal part SH and stops, the operation switch 1 is
2 is operated again, and the hydraulic cylinder 7 and the step contact body 9 at the lower end of the cylinder piston rod 7a are caused to move up vJ in accordance with the step horizontal formation movement from the step section SK. In this way, the auxiliary trolley carrying a wheelchair can be raised from the lower floor entrance of the escalator to the upper floor entrance in a state where it is always maintained horizontally. The auxiliary trolley carrying the wheelchair, which has been stopped for transport, can be easily pushed to the floor side of the upper escalator entrance with the intermediate wheels 13 and front wheels 4 brought into contact with the floor by raising the hydraulic cylinder 7.

The structure and operation of the wheelchair auxiliary trolley related to the above-mentioned separate application are as described above, and the hydraulic cylinder 7 installed in this auxiliary trolley has its piston rod 7a freely rotating around the vertical axis. This piston rod 7a
There is a problem in that the pivotable step ground body 9 attached to the lower end with a pivot pin 8 contacts the step surface in a direction other than the normal direction as shown in Fig. 1. . Note that the step contacting body 9 is turned in a direction perpendicular to the moving direction of the step S, for example, in a state B (the pivot pin 8 of the step contacting body 9 is oriented in the front-rear axis direction of the truck body 1, When the step contact body 9 is in contact with the step surface in a state in which the step contact body 9 rotates in the left-right direction using the step 8 as a fulcrum, the step formation movement from the step horizontal portion SL, or vice versa, the horizontal movement from the step step portion SK. When the hydraulic cylinder 7 is lowered and raised in accordance with the forming movement, the step contacting body 9 does not rotate in the step forming direction, and an unreasonable force is applied to the attachment portion of the step contacting member. Problems such as damage may occur.

(Embodiment of the Invention) Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings in FIGS. A trolley body on which a wheelchair B can be placed and pushed, and two or more escalator steps S (three steps in the example) on the front and rear parts of the trolley body. The front and rear wheels 4.5 are pivoted at a spacing between the front and rear axles spanning the plane, and the step forming movement from the step horizontal part SL of the escalator provided on the trolley body 1, or vice versa, the step from the step part SK. In accordance with the leveling movement, the trolley body 1 on which the wheelchair B is placed is raised and lowered by the rear wheels, and is equipped with a hydraulic cylinder type trolley leveling device 6 that always maintains a horizontal state (the above-mentioned separate matter In a wheelchair auxiliary trolley having a structure similar to that of the application (since the structure of this trolley is substantially the same, the same parts are given the same reference numerals and a detailed explanation of the structure and operation will be omitted), the trolley main body 1 is A guide rod insertion hole 14 is provided in the vicinity of the mounting portion of the hydraulic cylinder 7, and the guide rod is inserted parallel to the piston rod 7a from the position of the step floor mounting portion 19 at the lower end of the piston rod 7a of the hydraulic cylinder 7. A guide rod 15 for stopping the rotation of the piston, which moves up and down following the screws 1 to 7a that are fitted into the rod insertion hole 14, is provided upright, and the rotation prevention action of this guide rod causes a pivot type piston to be rotated. This is characterized in that the step contacting body 9 is prevented from turning in the horizontal plane, and the lower end of the guide rod 15 is connected to the bracket 16 protrudingly fixed to the flooring body mounting portion 19 at the fifth position. As shown in Figures 1 to 7, it is tightened and fixed with a nut 17. In the figure, reference numeral 18 is a pivot pin of the step floor body 9, which is rotated in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the truck body 1. It is inserted and fixed in one of the flooring body attachment parts. 9a indicates an elastic anti-slip plate made of a material having a large It!iml coefficient, such as nitrile rubber, which is attached to the lower surface of the step flooring body 9.

As described above, the wheelchair auxiliary trolley for an escalator according to the present invention has a guide rod insertion hole provided in the vicinity of the hydraulic cylinder mounting portion of the trolley body, and a piston of the hydraulic cylinder;
A guide rod for stopping the rotation of the piston, which is parallel to the piston rod and is slidably fitted into the guide rod insertion hole and moves up and down following the piston rod, is erected from the position of the step grounding body number attachment at the lower end of the rod. Since the guide rod is provided, the rotation prevention action of the guide rod can prevent the pivotable step-type flooring body from turning in the horizontal plane. In other words, the piston rod of the hydraulic cylinder freely rotates around the vertical axis, and the pivotable step floor body attached to the lower end of the piston rod with a pivot pin is oriented in a direction other than the normal direction. The conventional problem of contacting the step surface in a turned state (for example, if the step contacting body 9 contacts the step surface in a state of being turned in a direction perpendicular to the moving direction of the step S, When the hydraulic cylinder is lowered and raised in accordance with the step forming movement from the horizontal part of the step, or vice versa, the step contacting body rotates in the step forming direction. First, problems such as damage caused by excessive force acting on the mounting portion of the floor contacting body can be easily solved.
