[従来の技術とその問題点] 建設用骨材は、一般にコーンクラツシヤ、ジヨ

破砕の前後における粒子相互間の磨摺、圧縮、配
砕等の磨砕作用は実質的に殆んど起らず、その為
粒子は扁平、偏長状のものが多く、また原料の粗
破砕状態のもの、二次破砕等による鋭角尖突部を
多く有する異形破砕物を生産する欠点があつた。
従つてこの種生産破砕物を例えばコンクリート骨
材として使用すると、その粒形の影響により自然
粒形の骨材を使用したコンクリートと同一強度を
有するコンクリートを作る為に、水量、セメント
量を多くする必要が生じたり、養生中に水が表面
に浮き上がつてきたりして、種々のトラブルの発
生の因となるので、この種生産破砕物をそのまま
建設用骨材等の最終製品として使用することがで
きないという問題があつた。
