    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 回転軸と直角な面で摺動接触する静止部と回転
    部からなり、両部の接触をフレキシブルに保持す
    るベローズを前記回転部に備えてなるベローズ型
    メカニカルシールにおいて、前記回転軸側部分の
    外周面と前記ベローズ内周面との間に、該ベロー
    ズ内周面を覆つて該内周面に異物が付着するのを
    防止する筒状のカバーを設けたことを特徴とする
    ベローズ型メカニカルシール。
