[Detailed description of the invention] This invention is based on a transparent member such as a transparent glass plate or a transparent plastic plate that allows sufficient ultraviolet rays to pass through, and this member can be installed as a door (for example, an automatic door) at the entrance of a building or store. The present invention also relates to an advantageous joint structure with a mounting bracket for mounting as a window on an automobile door.

Conventionally, the transparent member and the mounting bracket have been joined together by, for example, (1) drilling a hole in the glass plate and attaching the mounting bracket to the hole by tightening a bolt or the like through a rubber gasket, or (2) using thermosetting. This was done by bonding the glass plate and the mounting hardware by heat curing using a mold adhesive.

However, in the case of (1) above, there is a drawback that the surface of the glass plate may be damaged during the perforation process, and the material strength of the glass plate is extremely reduced due to the perforation, making it more likely to break. This is clear, for example, from the fact that transparent float glass has better wind pressure resistance than frosted glass or patterned glass. In addition, in the case of (2) above, (a) a heating process is required, making the processing work complicated, (b) a corresponding amount of thermal energy is required for heating, and (c)
Since glass and metal have different coefficients of thermal expansion, residual stress tends to occur in the adhesive layer, which can cause the glass plate to break due to temperature changes during use, and the durability of the bonded area to decrease. d) It has disadvantages such as not being able to be sent to the next step immediately because slow cooling is required after heating and curing.

The present invention was developed in view of the above circumstances, and its purpose is to provide a joining structure that does not have the drawbacks of the above-mentioned prior art and allows easy processing of a transparent member and a mounting bracket. do. For this reason, in the joint structure of the present invention, openings are provided alternately in one side wall part and the other side wall part of the support frame of a mounting bracket having a support frame that supports a transparent member, and an ultraviolet curing adhesive is used. It is characterized in that the edge of the transparent member is adhered to the inside of the support frame via.

FIG. 1 shows an example of a mounting bracket having a support frame for supporting a transparent member, in which one side wall portion 2 and the other side wall portion 3 of the support frame 1 are arranged alternately (so-called staggered). These walls are provided with alternating openings 4 and 4'. This support frame 1 is made of metal, for example,
It is made from iron, aluminum, brass, etc. Further, as shown in FIG. 2, it is preferable that the width W 0 of the uncut portion and the width W 1 of the opening 4' facing the portion satisfy W 1 ≧W 0 . This is to allow light to reach every corner of the support frame 1 when the edge of the transparent member is adhered to the support frame 1 using an ultraviolet curing adhesive as described later.

Further, another example of the mounting bracket is shown in FIG. In FIG. 3, the height h 0 of one side wall 2 is greater than the height h 1 of the other side wall 3. In FIG. For this reason,
When the edge of the transparent member is bonded to the inside of the support frame 1 using an ultraviolet curable adhesive, the effective bonding area becomes large, resulting in a bonded structure with excellent structural strength.

Further, in the present invention, as shown in FIG. 4, the edge of a transparent member 5 such as a transparent glass plate or a transparent plastic plate is adhered within the support frame 1 via an ultraviolet curing adhesive 6. This adhesion may be carried out by a conventional method, for example, vinyl ester resin 80
An ultraviolet curable composition consisting of 20 parts by weight of styrene monomer and 2 parts by weight of benzoin isobutyl ether is applied inside the support frame 1, the edge of the transparent member 5 is fitted into this, and the ultraviolet irradiation device (Iwasaki Light can be irradiated for about 15 seconds using an electric "Cure Light Tester" (registered trademark) tal halide lamp, lamp input 6KW, emission length 490m/m, 120W/cm, irradiation distance 15cm). As a result, since the support frame 1 has the above-described structure, the light can evenly spread within the support frame 1 and the ultraviolet curable composition can be uniformly cured.

The joining structure between the transparent member and the mounting bracket configured as described above is as follows: (1) Transparent member (e.g. glass plate)
There is no need for pre-treatment such as drilling, (2)
Therefore, there is no damage such as cracking of the transparent member that occurs during such pretreatment, resulting in a high material yield; (3)
Since no heating is required during processing, no thermal energy is required. (4) As a result, there is little residual stress generated in the adhesive layer, making it possible to maintain high attachment strength over a long period of time. (5) In order to utilize the ultraviolet curing reaction, curing can be carried out by a so-called cold method, and the ultraviolet curing adhesive used is fast curing, (6) which makes it possible to start the next process immediately. It is also easy to handle,
(7) As shown in Figures 1 and 3, since the mounting bracket is not cantilevered, the adhesive durability is increased.
(8) Since it has a simple structure, it has the advantage of being suitable for mass production. For this reason, the joint structure of the present invention is
It can be widely used for glass doors at entrances and exits of buildings and stores, and for attaching car door glasses.
