Abstract

PURPOSE: To make tuning of a quick strobe possible to continuously photograph at a very high speed by providing the first damping means which damps a shutter shaft with an elastic force in the initial stage of engagement with a braking engaging part and the second damping means which damps the shutter shaft with frictional rotation after damping in the initial stage due to the first damping means.
CONSTITUTION: An exposure window 13 is opened and closed in order by a blade during one counterclockwise rotation of a shutter blade 1a to perform exposure, and the shutter blade 1a is returned by rotation to complete exposure. When the shutter blade terminates this one rotation, a braking engaging part 1c is engaged with the claw of a subratchet 23 to start damping a shutter shaft 1 by a bias spring 26, and next, the claw of a main ratchet 22 is struck to apply the final damping due to the frictional resistance between both ratchets 22 and 23 and upper and lower brake plates 21 and 24, and a clamp part 1b of the shutter shaft 1 is engaged with a stopper 9a of a stop lever 9 to stop the rotation of the shutter blade 1a.
