Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the capacity of a heat source used in the regeneration of a dehumidifying solution, by heat-exchanging the steam generated by using an evaporator as a regeneration apparatus with the dehumidifying solution before entering the evaporator and further performing the heat exchange between the regenerated dehumidifying solution and the dehumidifying solution before entering the evaporator.
CONSTITUTION: A heating coil 14 is arranged in an evaporator 13 performing the regeneration of a dehumidifying solution so as to be heat-exchanged with the liquid phase 17 of the dehumidifying solution in the evaporator 13 and the steam of a heat source is supplied to the coil 14. The steam generated in the evaporator 13 is sent to a first heat exchanger 20 by a pipeline 19 and heat-exchanged with the dehumidifying solution before entering the evaporator 13 to impart the heat possessed by steam to the dehumidifying solution. The dehumidifying solution regenerated in the evaporator 13 is returned to a dehumidifying tower 1 by a return pipe 16 but a second heat exchanger 27 is interposed to the return pipe 16 to be heat-exchanged with the dehumidifying solution after passed through the first heat exchanger 20. The dehumidifying solution is heated by the first heat exchanger 20 and further heated to the vicinity of the temp. in the evaporator13 by the second heat exchanger 27.
