Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 ［産業上の利用分野］ 本発明は、接客施設用ＣＡＴＶシステムに関する。
［従来の技術］ 従来、ホテル等の接客施設用としてＣＡＴＶシステムが
設けられ、そのホテルの各客室には受像モニタが設けら
れている。
そして、その受像モニタは、ガイドチャンネル、通常チ
ャンネル、有料番組を送るペイチャンネル等を受像する
ことができる。ガイドチャンネルは、レストラン、ショ
ー副のホテル内部の案内をするチャンネルと、観光ガイ
ド等の外部を案内するチャンネルとに分れている。
また、客が受像モニタの電源スィッチをオンすると、ま
ず、レストラン、ショウ等についての案内を行なうホテ
ル案内が放送される。これによって、受像モニタのスイ
ッチを客がオンしさえすれば、ホテルの案内放送を確実
に見ることができる。ホテル側からすれば、より一層の
サービス向りを図ることができる。
しかし、上記従来装置においては、受像モニタのスイッ
チを客がオンしない限り、ホテルの案内放送を客に見せ
ることができないので、その受像モニタをオンするのが
〃れれば、ホテルの案内放送を入室後、迅速に見せたい
というｕｌｉには応じられないという問題がある。
また、客が自主的に受像モニタのスイッチを入れなけれ
ば、その客に対しては、ホテルの案内放送を１回も見せ
ることができず、目ざまし時計の代りにテレビがオンす
るというようなサービスをその客が受けることができな
いという問題がある。
［発明の［１的］ 本発明は、従来装置の問題点に着［１してなされたもの
で、客が室に入った後、迅速に、しかも確実にホテルの
案内放送を見せることができる接客施設用ＣＡＴＶシス
テムを提供することを「ｉ的とするものである。
［発明の実施例］ 第１図は、本発明の一実施例を示すブロック図である。
この実施例は、フロントコンピュータ１０と。
端末ユニット２０と、ＣＡＴＶ受像モニタ３０とで構成
されている。フロントコンピュータｌＯは、フロントに
設けられ、ＣＡＴＶシステム全体を制御するコンピュー
タであり、端末ユニット２０は、受像モニタ３０と１に
なって設置され、端末ユニット２０と受像モニタ３０と
は、客室１つについて、１組づつ設けられている。
Ｇ末ユニー／　ト２０は、ＣＰＵ２１と、人体検知用セ
ンサ２２と、チャンネル切換えボタン等のキー人力装置
２３と、信号を変復調するモデム２４と、チューナー２
５と、分岐部２６とを有するものである。
人体検出用センナ−２２は、受像モニタ３０の近傍に人
が来たことを検出するセンサであり、赤外線センサまた
は超音波センサ等で構成されている。また、フロントコ
ンピュータ１０は、フロントから所定客室内の受像モニ
タの動作を可スオにする動作可能化手段の一例である。
また、ＣＰＵ２１は、このＣＰＵ２１に対応する受像モ
ニタ３０．の動作が可能にされた後、その受像モニタ３
０の近傍に人が来たことを検出したときに、ホテルの案
内放送等の接客施設情報を表示させる表示制御手段の一
例である。
第２図は、端末ユニット２０および受像モニタ３０をよ
り具体的に示す正面図である。
端末ユニット２０は、第１図に示す部材の他に、電源ス
ィッチ２０ａと、チャンネル設定またはゲーム種指定等
を行なうテンキー２７と、ペイチャンネルを指定するボ
タン２８と、チャンネル表示等を行なう７セグメント表
示素子ランプ２９とを有する。
次に、１−記実施例の動作について説明する。
第３図は、Ｌ記実施例の動作を示すフローチャートであ
る。
まず、ある客室についてチェックインが終了すると（Ｓ
Ｌ）、その客室について、フロントコンピュータｌＯに
チェック・「ン状況が入力される。
そして、フロントコンピュータ１０がその客室内の受像
モニタ３０の動作を可能にする。
その後、端末ユニット２０に設けられたセンサ２２が、
受像モニタ３０の近くに人がいるか否かを検出する（Ｓ
２）。もし、受像モニタ３０の近くに人が存在していれ
ば、６０チャンネル分の放送の中から、ホテルの案内放
送を選択し、そのチャンネルに強制的に切換て、電源ス
ィッチ２０ａをオンする（Ｓ３）。
そして、そのホテル案内放送が終了したならば、通常の
受信を行なう（Ｓ４）。つまり、テンキー２７を使用し
て所定のチャンネルを選択し、または、ペイチャンネル
２８を押すことによってペイチャンネルを選択すること
ができる。この場合、選択されたチャンネルがランプ２
９によって表示される。
上記ホテルの案内放送は、受像モニタ３０に客が近付い
たときに、開始される。したがって１通常、客室に客が
入ると同時に、ホテルの案内が放送されるので、ホテル
の案内放送を客に迅速に見せたいという要請に応えるこ
とができる。また、客室が広い場合には、客が室に入っ
ただけではＬ記ホテルの案内が放送されず、受像モニタ
３０の近くに客が来たときに初めて、ホテル案内の放送
が開始するので、その放送を客に確実に見せることがで
きる。
なお、Ｌ記ホテル案内は、客の入室後、１回だけ見せれ
ばよいので、強制的に放送されるホテル案内は１回だけ
放送されるようになっている。
また、Ｌ記実施例は、ホテルを例にとって説明したが、
旅館等、他の接客施設についても、本発明を適用するこ
とかでさる。
さらに、Ｌ記ホテル案内の代りに、他の接客施設情報を
強制的に放送するようにしてもよい。
［発明の効果］ 本発明によれば、客が客室に入った後、迅速に、しかも
、確実にホテルの案内放送を客に見せることができると
いう効果を有する。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. （１）フロントから所定客室内の受像モニタの動作を可
    能にする動作可能化手段と； 前記受像モニタの近傍に人が来たことを検出するセンサ
    と； 前記受像モニタの動作を可能にした後、前記受像モニタ
    の近傍に人が来たことを検出したときに、所定の接客施
    設情報を表示させる表示制御手段と； を有することを特徴とする接客施設用ＣＡＴＶシステム
    。
  2. （２）特許請求の範囲第１項において、 前記表示制御手段は、前記所定の接客施設情報を最初の
    １回のみ表示させるものであることを特徴とする接客施
    設用ＣＡＴＶシステム。
