Abstract

PURPOSE: To make optimum exciting conditions at every object sample satisfiable so speedily, by rotating each of rotary paired cathodes mounting several types of target materials, and adjusting them to the specified position.
CONSTITUTION: A rotary disc is divided into equal parts by a rotary multigate 1, setting a cathode metal. Alignment in this case is adjusted by frequency of the encoder 6 attached to a rotary motor 5. As for the said cathode metal, those of Mo, Au, W, Cr, V, Cu and Ag or the like are optionally adapted in accord with the range of study. An electron to be emitted out of a filament 2 collides with the selected anode metal and radiates an X-ray 3. And, a signal out of an encoder 6 is processed at a central processing unit 8 through an I/O7, and it is made into a system outputting it to the rotary motor 5. With this constitution, such a multitarget X-ray tube bulb for fluorescent X-ray spectroscopy that speedily satisfies optimum exciting condition at every object target is securable.
