従来例の構成とその問題点 従来のアイロンの温度調節装置は、第1図に示
すように、ヒーターを有するベース1の上にサー
モスタツト2と、このサーモスタツト2の可動部
に当接する作動棒3を設け、把手4の前方に設け
た操作部材5のカム面に対接して、前記作動棒3
を配し、この操作部材4を回動操作することによ
り起こる作動棒3の上下運動をサーモスタツト2
へ伝達し、接点の開閉動作を行なわせるものであ
る。このようにサーモスタツト2と操作部材5の
取付位置が操作性および熱的問題上離れて設けて
あるので、両者を連結する作動棒3は、クランク
形状をしている。ここで、作動棒3のクランク形
状の両端部の平行度の狂いや、捩れ、あるいは両
端面の仕上げ状態により、操作部材5の回動操作
時に、作動棒3に左右の振れが生ずる。このため
操作部材5のカム面とサーモスタツト2の可動部
の距離に変化を生じ操作部材5の可動角度に対す
るベース面の温度変化量に差異を生じやすいとい
う問題があつた。また、サーモスタツト2と操作
部材5は作動棒3により直結しているため、組立
時における温度の微調整はバイメタル6に設けた
ねじ7によつて行われていた。しかしながら、ね
じ7はバイメタル6に設けた構成上の理由により
本体の内部深く位置し、調整時における作業性は
頗る悪く、加えて、その上方にタンク8が配置し
たものでは一層不便なものである等、所望のベー
ス面温度を得るのに大きな課題を有していた。

Further, since the thermostat 2 and the operating member 5 are directly connected through the operating rod 3, fine adjustment of the temperature during assembly is performed using the screw 7 provided on the bimetal 6. 発明の構成 本発明のアイロンの温度調節装置は、ベース面
の温度を制御するサーモスタツトと、下端をサー

とその下方にねじを設けてほぼ垂直に立設した作
動棒と、この作動棒のねじ部分に進退自在に取付
けたL字状のアーム部材と、このアーム部材の端
部にカム面を当接して回動自在な操作部材を備
え、上記操作部材によりアーム部材を介して作動
棒を上下動させることにより、温度調節精度と組
立時における温度の微調整の作業性を向上させる
ものである。

内部に設けた案内穴14に摺動自在に挿通してあ
る。15はアイロン本体上部の把手で、この把手
15の前方には操作部材16を回動自在に設けて
ある。16aは操作部材16の一端に形成したカ
ム面で、前記アーム部材13bの端部に当接して
