Abstract
PURPOSE: To detect the image of the contaminant adhered to a transparent or translucent container to be inspected, by projecting light to said container and simultaneously combining an image due to transmitted light and an image due to reflected light.
CONSTITUTION: For example, the burn or contaminant of the ampule agent A around the head part 1 of an ampule is detected, diffused light is projected to the ampule agent A through a diffusion plate such as frosted glass and the transmitted light is projected to the light receiving surface of an optical sensor 9 through an image forming lens 8 and the black image of the burn or contaminant due to projection is converted to an electric signal which is, in turn, processed by a processing circuit 10 and detected. At this time, because the light projected to the ampule agent A is diffused by the diffusion plate 7, light is uniformly projected to the ampule agent A and the background to the ampule agent A comes to white light and the black shade of the burn or contaminant can be caught without omission.
