Claims (1)
- シリンダヘツドの下面のボア周縁部に対応する
位置に設けた凹部に渦流室を形成するチヤンバー
部材を嵌合させるとともに該凹部のシリンダ中心
軸側にウオータジヤケツトが形成される一方、上
記チヤンバー部材に、シリンダ側の燃焼室に面す
るその下面と上記渦流室とに跨つてしかも該下面
のボア周縁部寄り部分に対して鋭角を成すように
して噴孔を形成するとともに、上記渦流室に望む
内面を、上記噴孔が上記渦流室側に開口する面で
あつてしかもシリンダ中心軸側からボア周縁部に
向つて下降傾斜するようにされた底壁と、該底壁
の周縁部に連続する側周壁とで構成するとともに
、該底壁と側周壁とが交叉連続するコーナ部のう
ちシリンダ中心軸側に位置する高位側コーナ部に
ノズル噴孔を指向させたデイーゼルエンジンにお
いて、上記チヤンバー部材の上記高位側コーナ部
の外方に、上記高位側コーナ部からシリンダヘツ
ド側への伝熱を低減する断熱用凹部空間が形成さ
れていることを特徴とするデイーゼルエンジンの
渦流室構造。
