Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a granular substance having a uniform particle size within a short time by a small capacity container, by a method wherein a raw liquid to be treated is dispersed throughout the high temp. oil in a drying container by spraying to be dried and, subsequently, the dried substance is taken out by centrifugal separation.
CONSTITUTION: High temp. oil such as animal oil is received in a drying container and, subsequently, a raw liquid to be treated is sprayed from a spray device 3 to be dispersed throughout the high temp. oil. The sprayed and dispersed liquid droplets do not easily generate gravitational sedimentation unlike that in air and the re-bonding between the dispersed liquid droplets is prevented. Thus dispersed liquid droplets are dried by high temp. oil to be formed into a granular substance. Therefore, the granular substance is adhered to the inner wall of the container using the centrifugal separator provided in the container and scraped out to the outside. By this method, the granular substance for a high quality ceramics press body is prepared at inexpensive equipment cost.
