Abstract

PURPOSE: To decrease the moving quantity of a header and to reduce the copy time by executing reading/recording of all picture information and all management information of an optical disc incorporatedly.
CONSTITUTION: In reading all the management information of the 1st optical disc 16 and storing its address information respectively to a memory device 2, all the picture information of the 1st optical disc 16 is read based on the address information and stored on the 2nd optical disc 17. Further, all the address information of the picture information stored on the 2nd optical disc 17 is read and stored in the memory device 2 respectively, all the management information of the 1st optical disc 16 is read finally, the address information is converted into the address information of the 2nd optical disc 17 and stored on the 2nd optical disc 17. Thus, the moving distance of the header reading/ storing all the management information and all the picture information incorporatedly respectively in reduced and the copy time is reduced.
