【産業上の利用分野）
本発明は、双方向あるいは単方向通信システムを含むＣ
ＡＴＶシステムに関するものである。
【従来技術】
従来の端末器は、それぞれ独自のアドレスを具備してお
り、双方向あるいは単方向通信方式でＣＡＴＶシステム
を稼動する時には、第１図にみられるように、センター
１から信号伝送線２を介して各加入者宅３にＴＶ信号を
与える時に、ぞこに設置−＋た端末器４にポーリングデ
ータを送り、それが各端末器４のアドレスを表示する識
別番号に一致した時にのみ、ＣＡＴＶの４ノービスが受
ＩＪられるようにイずつでいる。例えば、端末器４のア
ドレスが” Ａ ”である時、それにｌＪ応Ｊるポーリ
ング′″Ｐ Ａ ”によるサービスのみ受入れられるの
である。このようにボーリンク” Ｐ Ａ ”は加入者
に対するサービスではなく、その加入者の所有する端末
器４に対してのυ−ヒスである。
【技術的課題ｌ
こりため加入者は、加入者所有の（センター側から貸与
される場合も含み）端末器４を通してしか、所望のサー
ビスを受【ノることができない。また端末器４について
は、他の加入者によって他の加入者特有のサービスを受
１ノようとしても、それは不可能であった。
【発明の目的１
本発明は、」−記事情にもとづいてなつれたもので、Ｃ
ＡＴＶ １ノ＝ビスは加入者に対して行えるようにし、
利用端末器については特定されないようにして利用度を
高め、かつ、便利にしたＣＡＴＶシステムを提供しよう
とするものである。
［発明の構成］
この目的のため、本発明は、双方向あるいは単方向通信
システムを含むＣＡＴＶシステムにおいて、端末器に記
憶媒体を読出す手段を設け、上記手段で識別番号を記憶
される記憶媒体を、端末器に対して取出し可能に独立し
た形で用意し、上記記憶媒体を上記手段に挿入すること
で、上記端末器の識別番号とすることを特徴とするもの
である。
【実 施 例１
以下、本発明の一実施例を第２図および第３図にもとづ
いて具体的に説明する。ここではＣΔＴＶ端末器５は、
ＲＡＭ６を具備しており、ここにはリーダ７カ日うの情
報が書込まれており、それが当該端末器５のアドレス（
識別番号）となる。また上記リーダ１には、磁気カード
、ＩＣカードく１どの記憶媒体（以下、ＩＤカードとい
う）８が挿入でき、この挿入によって上記ＩＣカード８
の識別番号が、アドレスとしてＲＡＭ６に記憶され、セ
ンターからのポーリングの時に、アト１．′スとして機
能する。このＩＩ’）カー１−ａを抜取ると、ＲＡＭ６
の記憶内容は消去される。
しかして、例えば第３図銭）のように、加入者Δがアド
レス“′Ａ゛′の書込まれたＩＤカード８を端末器５に
挿入すると、端末器５はリーダ７でアドレス“Ａ ＩＩ
を読取り、ＲＡＭ６にロードする。この時点で、端末器
５のアドレスが“Ａ ”と決定される。以後の端末器５
は、ポーリングｌｌ Ｐ Ａ ＩＩのみを受（＝Ｊ Ｐ
する。すなわち加入者Ａは、自分のＩＦ）カードに対応
するサービスを娼１末器５によって得ることができる。
また、第３図Φ）に示すように、加入者Ｂがアドレス゛
′Ｂ″の書込まれたＩＤカードを同じ端末器５に挿入す
ると、端末器５は同様の過桿でアドレス“Ｂ°°変更さ
れる。つまり加入者Ｂは、加入者Ａに代って同じ端末器
５を通して自分のＩＤカードに対応するサービスを得る
ことになる。このように１台の端末器に対応するサービ
スは、その端末器のその部面の利用者のアドレスで使用
できることになり、逆に言えば、複数の端末器に対して
１人の加入者が、必要に応じて自身のＩＤカードに対応
するサービスを得るように利用できるのである。
また、第３図（Ｃ）に示すように、加入者がＩＤカード
を端末器より引抜いた場合に、１０カードのり一グ７は
アドレス無しと判断し、ＲＡＭ６のメモリーを消去づる
。この鮪点で端末器はアドレスを失い、いかなるポーリ
ングも受（１（Ｊない。
しかして、このようイに端末器をセンターでコントロー
ルし得る数だけ配置すれば、同一センターに所属する加
入者は、１０カードによって複数の端末器から固有のサ
ービスが受ｔ−Ｊられ、同一端末器が多数の加入者によ
って利用できる。

スを完全に取去ったものを示したが、固有アドレスを端
末器自体に持たせて、ＩＤカードによるアドレス指定を
優先させるようにしてもよい。
この場合には、ＩＩ′）カードの挿入されていない時に
は、端末器自体の固有アドレスでポーリングが受付【プ
られる。
また、上記端末器ｋｌ 、屋外設置型のものにも利用で
きる。また、複数のＩＤカードを受入れられるようにリ
ーダを複数個、端末器に組込んでもよい。この場合は、
各ＩＤカードのそれぞれについきポーリングされるので
、リーービスが増重ことになる。言換えれば、１台の端
末器に複数加入者が同時にアクセス可能であることを意
味する。
なお、リーダは必ずしも端末器内に内蔵されムくてもよ
いことは勿論である。
【発明の効果１
本発明は以上詳述したようになり、加入者が所持するＩ
Ｄカードで複数の端末器を選択して利用でき、また、１
つの端末器は、多数の加入者に利用され得るなど、ＣＡ
ＴＶシステムのサービスがより高く利用でき、便利であ
