Abstract

PURPOSE:To inhibit fogging, to attain high maximum density, and to prevent reversal by forming a layer cured by irradiation on a support. CONSTITUTION:A layer of a composition contg. a component which cures by irradiation is formed on a supprt to obtain an image receiving element. A polymerizable compound having a C=C unsatd. double bond in the molecule is used as the component which cures by irradiation. The polymerizable compound includes a compound having a (meth)acryloyl group such as ether (meth)acrylate obtd. by reacting monohydric alcohol and polyhydric alcohol or a condensation product of polyhydric alcohol with (meth)acrylic acid.
