Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the fluidity of a developer to keep it uniform by separating the residue of a toner, which is supplied from a roll to develop a latent image on a photosensitive drum in a developing part, from a sleeve by a magnet provided on the outside of a housing. CONSTITUTION:The developer is supplied to a photosensitive drum 1 from a pickup magnet 12 of a fixed magnet cylinder 10 by a sleeve 11 rotated in the direction of an arrow to develop the latent image on the drum 1, and a magnet 16 is provided in the position, where the developer is not supplied from a pick off magnet 13, on the outside of a housing 3 near the developing part. The developer remaining on the sleeve 11 is separated from the sleeve 11 by the magnetic force of the magnet 16 and is fed to a mixer 6 through a paddle wheel 5. Thus, the unused developer is prevented from being formed to blocks, and the fluidity is improved to keep the developer uniform, and the life is extended.
