In general high-rise buildings, rain protection structures that utilize the isobaric principle are widely used, in which an outside air inlet is provided inside the frame-like members such as mullions, blinds, or frames that make up the curtain wall. There is. It has been relatively easy to prevent raindrops from entering the frame and introduce only the outside air by providing outside air inlets in these frame-like members in areas where raindrops are less likely to come into contact with them, such as the open bottom end. , mullions and
No effective structure for introducing outside air into the space formed between the vertical frames of the satsushi attached to the mullion has been considered. Conventionally, in such cases, a space was formed between the mullions and the vertical frames of the sash, and a separate auxiliary frame was interposed between the mullions and the vertical frames of the sash to introduce outside air into this space, thereby draining rainwater. Only outside air was allowed to enter without air entering. However, the interposition of the auxiliary frame complicates the structure, resulting in laborious construction and increased costs.Furthermore, the installation method is simple, such as by inserting the window frame into the installation groove of the mullion. The disadvantage was that it was difficult to carry out.

This idea was made with the intention of solving the above problem, and was created between the mounting groove provided on the side of the mullion and the vertical frame of the sash that is fitted into this mounting groove. By forming an outside air inlet on the outdoor side of the space in which the air is exposed, and by arranging partition packing made of elastic material with a communication port in this space, watertightness can be achieved using the isobaric principle. To provide a watertight structure for a curtain wall, which is characterized by not requiring an auxiliary frame, simplifying construction, and reducing costs.

Figures 1 and 2 are a cross-sectional view and a vertical cross-sectional view, respectively, showing an example of the watertight structure of this invention.
1 is a mullion, and in this case, the indoor hollow part 1a
It is integrally formed with a leg part 1b protruding toward the outdoor side from the outdoor side piece 1a' of this hollow part 1a, and an exterior part 1c extending from the tip of this leg part 1b on both sides, and Outer piece 1a', leg part 1b and exterior part 1
Attachment grooves 2, 2 formed by c and c are provided on both sides. 3 is a window; in this case, the upper frame 3
a, sliding type shoji 3d, 3d are installed in a window frame composed of a lower frame 3b and left and right vertical frames 3c, 3c, and a window frame, that is, a vertical frame of a sash is installed in the mounting groove 2. (hereinafter referred to as "vertical frame") 3c, the indoor side of the mounting groove 2 and the vertical frame 3c are closely attached via the sealing material 4 to provide airtightness, and the mullion 1 and A space 5 is formed between the vertical frame 3c and the space 5 is a gap 6a that occurs between the mullion 1 and the vertical frame 3c on the outdoor side or the mullion 1 and the vertical frame 3.
an opening 6b formed in at least one of c.
A space with equal pressure of outside air is formed through the outside air inlet 6 consisting of the above. Moreover, this space 5 is formed by the vertical frame 3c.
It is longitudinally divided into two parts by a partition packing 7 fitted in a locking groove 3e protruding from the end face of the partition 5a, 5b. They communicate with each other via a communication port 8 provided at a location that cannot be seen directly, and each forms a space with an equal pressure of outside air. The partition packing 7 made of an elastic material is made of, for example, a synthetic resin such as vinyl chloride, or a synthetic rubber having elasticity such as chloroprene rubber.

The watertight structure of this invention constructed as described above has a partition packing 7 arranged in the outside air equal pressure space 5 formed between the mullion 1 and the window 3 to divide the space 5 into two rooms 5a and 5b. The two rooms 5 are divided into two rooms 5 through a communication port 8 provided in a place that cannot be seen directly through the outside air inlet 6 in the partition packing 7.
a and 5b communicate with each other, it is possible to introduce outside air into both the partitioned spaces, and even if raindrops enter the chamber 5a with kinetic energy, the partition packing 7 will prevent the raindrops from entering the chamber 5a. Room 5
The raindrops that try to enter into the chamber 5 can be blocked, the raindrops can be allowed to fall into the horizontal space 10 of the open space 9, and then drained to the outside from the drain port 11.
There is no rainwater entering b with kinetic energy, and since the chambers 5a and 5b are both at the same pressure as the outside air, there is no rainwater entering the chambers 5a and 5b due to the pressure difference, and the vertical frame 3c and No rainwater reaches the sealing material 4, which is the indoor side portion of the joint between the two members with the mullion 1, and thus there is no water leakage into the room. With the above, watertight performance can be improved.

Further, according to this invention, the vertical frame 3c of the window 3 is fitted into the mounting groove 2 of the mullion 1, and the spacing adjustment member 12 for fixing the mullion 1 and the vertical frame 3c is inserted from above. In addition, the spacing adjustment material 12 can be divided into upper and lower parts in advance, and the lower part thereof is attached to the leg part 1b, and the vertical frame 3c and the remaining spacing adjustment material 12 are inserted into the mounting groove 2. It can also be installed by dropping it into the wall, and can be installed flexibly depending on the construction method. In addition, since the partition packing 7 is formed of an elastic member, there is no risk of causing any trouble during construction.
