Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to form an image of an original and an image of additional information in the same copying paper using a common latent image forming device by giving produced additional information to a latent image forming device, and giving the image of an original to the latent image forming device and developing by toner.
CONSTITUTION: A light emission diode array 36 of monolithic structure is provided in the upper part of a short focal length lens array 34 as the second light source for forming an electrostatic latent image of additional information other than the image of an original. An LED array 36 and the short focal length lens array 34 are used in common for forming the image of the original and forming the image of additional information. Further, a corotron for charging 38 for forming the image of additional information to charge a photosensitive drum 32 uniformly in specified polarity is attached immovably. A developing device 44 for developing the electrostatic latent image by toner is provided in downstream side of the short focal length lens array 34. By contact of the tip of a blade of a developer 46 with the photosensitive drum 32, for instance, minus charged toner adhered to an electrostatic image formed by plus charge.
