Abstract

PURPOSE: To contrive reduction in stray-load loss caused by the fringing of leakage flux as well as to contrive improvement in mechanical strength when a short circuit is occurred by a method wherein an auxiliary wound core is provided in such a manner that it is interlinked with a coil passing between a coil part and a wound core.
CONSTITUTION: An auxiliary wound core 14 is provided in such a manner that it is interlinked with a coil passing the vacant space 13 located between the leg part 11a of a wound core 11 and a coil part.The greater part of the surface area of the coil 12 is coated with a wound core 11 and the auxiliary wound core 14. The leakage flux 24 generated on coils 22 and 24 is pulled up into the auxiliary wound core 14 with which the upper surface 17 of the coils 22 and 23 is coated, and a magnetic circuit is formed in such a manner that the leakage magnetic flux 24 returns to the coils 22 and 23 passing through the side face 20 and the end face 17 of the coils 22 and 23. As a result, the fringing of the leakage magnetic flux 24 is made small, and the quantity of the flinging made incident into the coil 12 is reduced, thereby enabling to decrease the eddy current loss generating on a coil conductor.
