る。 Conventionally, there has been known a winding device in which the yarn is traversed by a drum having a spiral yarn guide groove and a package is frictionally driven by the drum, and is used in a yarn winder or an open-end spinning machine. has been done. In the rotary traverse (RT) winding system that uses such a traversing drum, the winding diameter of the bobbin (or package cage) changes as the thread is wound, and therefore the number of revolutions of the bobbin per unit time and the traverse change. The ratio between the number of reciprocations and the number of reciprocations changes during winding. When the ratio of the number of revolutions of the bobbin to the number of reciprocations of the traverse becomes an integer or a simple fraction, the threads are wound at almost the same location on the surface of the bobbin, and as a result, the threads overlap and swell. , so-called ribbon winding occurs. A yarn package in which such ribbon winding occurs has a disadvantage in that the winding appearance is poor and the yarn layer easily collapses from the end surface of the package. Furthermore, since the yarn cannot be smoothly unwound from the package where ribbon winding has occurred, yarn breakage occurs during subsequent processes such as rewinding, warping, direct weft feeding in the jet room, yarn feeding in the knitting machine, etc. This results in a significant decrease in production efficiency in subsequent processes.

6320 Publication), intermittently separating the package cage from the drum surface (Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 35-9138), and removing part of the spiral thread guide groove of the drum (Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 35-9138)
10382)). However, conventional devices require a special device such as a cam mechanism to prevent ribbon winding, making them expensive, or if a part of the thread guide groove is not formed, misalignment may occur. There were other problems.

上述の目的を達成する。 According to the present invention, in a winding device that uses a drum having a spiral yarn guide groove to traverse yarn and frictionally drive a package, a long and narrow projection extending in the axial direction of the traversing drum is provided on the surface of the drum. The above object is achieved by the characteristic ribbon winding prevention device.

The yarn 5 spun from the spinning unit 3 is actively pulled out by a pull-out roller 7 and a knipper roller 9, and is sent to a traversing drum 11. As shown in FIG. 2, the traversing drum 11 has a spiral thread guide groove 11a on its outer peripheral surface, and frictionally drives the bobbin 13 while traversing the thread in the axial direction of the bobbin 13. The thread 5 is wound onto a bobbin 13 in the shape of a cheese or cone.

すればよい。 As shown in FIG. 2, the traverse drum 1 of the present invention
An elongated projection 15 extending in the axial direction of the traversing drum is formed on the circumferential surface of the traversing drum. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 2, the protrusion 15 extends over the entire width of the traversing drum 11 and traverses the thread guide groove 11a. When the protrusion 15 crosses the thread guide groove 11a in this manner, the protrusion 15 is provided at a location where the thread can be stably guided by the thread guide groove 11a in order to prevent the yarn from coming off the twill. In other words, avoid the crossing portion 11b and the folded portion 11e of the thread guide groove 11a, and
form 5. The protrusion 15 may be formed integrally with the traversing drum 11, or a separately formed member may be attached to the circumferential surface of the traversing drum 11. The height of the protrusion 15 is approximately 1 in the case of an open-end spinning machine.
Around mm is appropriate. However, the height of the protrusion is not limited to this value, and may be appropriately selected in consideration of the winding speed, yarn count, type, package size, etc.

In this embodiment, the protrusion 15 extends in the axial direction of the traverse drum 11, but is formed so as to avoid the thread guide groove 11a. Therefore, since the yarn is always guided by the yarn guide groove 11a of the traversing drum 11 and traverses, the position of the protrusion 15 is not limited as in the first embodiment. The length of the protrusion 15 may be shorter than that shown in FIG. Alternatively, a large number of small protrusions may be arranged in the axial direction of the drum.

Further, in the illustrated embodiment, the protrusion 15 is formed at only one location in the circumferential direction of the traversing drum 11, but if necessary, the protrusion may be formed at two or more locations.

た場合でも、リボン巻の発生は防止される。 According to the present invention, an elongated protrusion extending in the axial direction of the traverse drum is formed on the surface of the drum, so that when the traverse drum rotates, the bobbin (package) that is driven in contact with the drum is moved at the location of the protrusion. It bounces, and for a short period of time, it separates from the traversing drum or the contact pressure becomes weak. As a result, a slip occurs between the traversing drum and the bobbin, and the ratio between the bobbin rotation speed and the number of traverse reciprocations changes instantaneously. Therefore, even if the ratio becomes an integer or a simple fraction, ribbon winding is prevented from occurring.
