Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the dimensional accuracy of an optical card with no deterioration of the information recording density of the card, by using a correction means like a correction plate, etc. to correct the out-of-focus state due to the variance of thickness of a transparent protection film of the card.

Therefore the thickness D=Δt/ns(1-1/nc) is required for the plate 20 when the refractive index of the film 3 is defined as ns.
