Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the operability of an input pen by operating a code signal selecting switch, and selecting and displaying optionally a transmission code from among many kinds of code signals.
CONSTITUTION: A code signal of a specified waveform by an input pen is converted to a wireless signal by a infrared light emitting element by a diode 22, and transmitted to a tablet side from a pen holder 10. From a signal generating circuit 30 of this input pen, many kinds of code signals are generated, and this code signal is selected by switches 15, 16 which has been placed in the pen holer 10. These switches 15, 16 are turned on by pressing a button 16a which has been projected to the outside periphery of the pen holder 10. This seelcted code signal is displayed by a light emitting part 20, the code signal is discriminated, and the operability of the input pen is improved.
