Abstract

PURPOSE: To record plural pieces of record information continuously by providing a transport controlling means between a recording means and a cutting means and thereby controlling the state of transport of a sheet material carried to the cutting device when making cutting operation.
CONSTITUTION: A sheet material 1 wound to rolllike form is transported by a platen roller 2, and in the meantime, specified information is recorded by a recording head 3. A transport controlling roller 5 for constituting a transport controlling means that controls transport of the sheet material 1 to a cutter 4 is provided between above-mentioned platen roller 2 and cutter 4. Rotation of the transport controlling roller 5 is stopped by an operation controlling section 6 when the rear end of a recorded picture is carried to the position of the cutter 4, and rotated at a specified speed after completion of cutting. The operation controlling section 6 counts the number of lines recorded during carrying of the sheet material 1 from the recording head 3 to the cutter 4, and controls operation of above-mentioned transport controlling roller 5 and cutter 4 after completion of counting.
