い為、コンピュータからの起動によりカセット給紙を行
っている際、画像記録装置近辺の操作者により手差し給
紙を行ってしまうという操作不具合を生じてしまう可能
性が大である。

た手差し給紙部とを備えた画像記録装置において、前述
のホストからの給紙部選択信号に応動し、前記主制御装
置によつてカセット給紙部が選択された際には、前記手
差し挿入口と前記手差しローラ間の手差し用紙通路を遮
断し、逆に手差し給紙部が選択された際には用紙通路を
解放する通路ゲートを設けたことを特徴とする画像記録
装置の給紙装置。 2、特許請求の範囲第1項において、前述の手差し用紙
通路に手差し検知手段を設け、該手差し検知手段を前述
の通路ゲートと兼用させたことを特徴とする画像記録装
置の給紙装置。 3、特許請求の範囲第1項において、前述の通路ゲート
は、前記給紙部制御信号が手差し給紙部を選択し、かつ
、プリント要求信号を受信した際に解放することを特徴
とした画像記録装置の給紙装置。 4、特許請求の範囲第2項において、前述の手差し検知
