Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide variability for alteration in the shape and the position of a spoiler, to improve safety of motion, and to provide freedom of a pressure source position, by a method wherein a hydraulic material is used for control of the spoiler of a car, and a pressure value is selected according to a running condition.
CONSTITUTION: A spoiler device is attached to a rear recessed part 16 of a track lid 1, and an inlet 17 is conducted to an air compressor 19 of a pressure feeding device through a pipe 18. In this constitution, when a vehicle is brought to a state in which a decrease in dynamic lift is needed, air is fed through the pipe 18 from the air compressor 19 to the recessed part 16 in the rear end part of the trank lid 1, and after a rear spoiler body 11 is inflated by means of an air pressure, an exhaust valve 20 is closed. In this case, the spoiler body 11 is formed such that a front half part is increased in thickness and a rear half part is decreased in thickness, and this enables formation of a given shape, and produces a decreasing effect of dynamic lift, resulting in improvement of running safety of a vehicle.
