Therefore, even if LEDs are simply used in this type of lighting,
Not only does the problem of poor visibility occur because only the area g shines, but the utilization rate of the luminous flux generated from the LED is extremely poor, and moreover, the illumination is circular and spot-like compared to a rectangular lens. A problem arises in that the lighting filling is also poor.

Means for Solving Problem E] The present invention provides specific means for solving the above-mentioned problems,
A printed circuit board on which an LED is arranged is attached to a base, a transparent reflective member is attached to the LED, a lens is arranged to surround the reflective member, and the reflective member has a rectangular shape when viewed from the front. At the same time, the L is located approximately in the center.
A hole into which the ED fits is provided, and the back side is formed into a dome-shaped curved surface that reflects the emitted light emitted from the LED to the side into substantially parallel rays toward the front, and the hole in the center is a part where the LED is inserted. The object of the present invention is to provide a vehicular lamp characterized in that the reflective member is formed into a cylindrical shape, the front surface thereof is formed into a square shape, and the space between the cylindrical shape and the square shape is gradually formed into a square shape. By attaching the LED to the LED
The luminous flux radiated from the side of D can be used as parallel rays toward the front side, increasing the effective luminous flux, which not only improves visibility, but also makes the hole in the center square, so it can be used as a square lamp. This results in better lighting filling.

[Example] Next, the present invention will be explained in more detail with reference to the illustrated embodiment. The illustrated lamp is a stop lamp using a plurality of LEDs. Reference numerals 11 and 12 indicate LEDs serving as light sources, and commonly used LEDs are used as they are. These LEDs 11 and 12 are each attached to a printed circuit board 15 via two lead frames 13 and 14, and the printed circuit board 13 is attached to a base 16.

In this case, the length of the long side of the rectangle is approximately half that of the lens 17 described above, and is large enough to be attached to the two LEDs 11 and 12 and fit inside. Note that the reflecting members attached to both LEDs have substantially the same shape, so one of them will be explained.

As shown in FIG. 3, the reflecting member 18 has a rectangular shape when viewed from the front, and has a cylindrical hole 19 in its center that penetrates to the back side, and the LED 11 is inserted into the eye hole from the back side. Can be inserted and installed.

Therefore, this hole 19 has a certain length range on the back side where the LED is attached, that is, a portion 19a where the LED is attached is formed into a cylindrical shape to match the outer shape of the LED, and a portion 19b opening on the front side of the reflecting member 18 is formed. It is formed into a rectangular shape (square or rectangle), and the section from the cylindrical portion to the rectangular portion is gradually formed into a rectangular shape from the cylindrical shape toward the rectangular shape. The back side of the reflecting member 18 is formed into a dome-shaped curved surface 20 that reflects the luminous flux emitted from the attached LED 11 to the side surface toward the front side so as to become approximately parallel rays, and the dome-shaped curved surface 20 and the front surface Cut portions 21 are formed at the boundaries of each side of the visible rectangle. Note that a wall portion 22 is provided along the outer peripheral edge of the hole 19 on the back side. Further, the lens cut 17a of the lens 17 is not limited to a convex lens, and it goes without saying that a concave lens can be cut as shown in FIG.

In the vehicle lamp of the present invention having the above-mentioned configuration, as shown in FIG.
The light flux toward the side is reflected by the curved surface 20 of the reflecting member 18 into substantially parallel light rays toward the front side, and is then taken out through the lens 17 to the outside. Therefore, by using the reflecting member 18, almost all of the luminous flux emitted from the side of the LED, which is not generally used, can be reflected to the front side as parallel rays, so the entire surface of the lens on the front side shines, and the overall This allows for increased illuminance. In this case, in particular, since the central hole 19 is formed in a square shape on the front side of the reflective member 18, the LED
The light flux emitted from the top of the lamp, that is, from the front side, is not a circular spot but is spread out into a rectangular shape, which matches the shape of the rectangular lamp when viewed from the front.
Since the light beam emitted from the top of the lens is small and not concentrated in a circular shape, the lens surface shines almost uniformly, which also improves visibility. Although the illustrated embodiment is a stop lamp, the same applies to other lamps.

[Effects of the Invention] As explained above, the vehicle lamp according to the present invention has a rectangular shape when viewed from the front, a dome-shaped curved surface on the back side, and a reflective member provided with a cylindrical hole in the center as an LED. Due to the attached configuration, in addition to the luminous flux emitted from the LED towards the front side, the luminous flux emitted from the side is also reflected by the curved surface into approximately parallel rays towards the front side and can be used as effective rays, thereby increasing the luminous flux utilization rate. At the same time, the hole in the center is made cylindrical in the part where the LED is inserted, and square in the part on the front side. Because of the shape, the mounting condition of the LED is stable, and the luminous flux emitted from the front surface of the LED spreads into a rectangular shape and matches the shape of the lamp, resulting in an excellent effect that the lighting appearance is good.

In addition, by forming the reflective member from a soft i material such as rubber, the fitting state with the LED is stable, and the front face shape of the reflective member can be formed into various shapes to match the shape of the lamp. Since the luminous flux can be extracted from the entire area, the illumination surface of the lamp shines not in spots but in the entire area, which also provides various excellent effects such as improved visibility.
