Claims (1)
- プラテン面に沿つて進退可能に配設される適宜
数の遮光シートと、この各遮光シートのプラテン
に面する端部に夫々取付けられ且つ上記各遮光シ
ートの端部位置に対応するプラテン部位に原稿が
存在するか否かを検出する原稿センサと、上記各
遮光シートを駆動ワイヤを介して進退動させる駆
動手段と、上記原稿センサの出力に基づいて上記
各遮光シートが原稿の端縁で停止するように上記
駆動手段を制御する駆動制御手段とを備えた複写
機において、上記駆動ワイヤの一部に当該駆動ワ
イヤの移動に追従して回動する回転部材を設ける
と共に、この回転部材には当該回転部材の回転量
に対応したパルス信号が出力されるエンコーダを
付設する一方、上記駆動ワイヤの一部に引張用の
スプリング部材を介装し、上記エンコーダからの
パルス信号を計数することにより、各遮光シート
の進退方向に沿う原稿の寸法を演算して当該原稿
のサイズを検知するようにしたことを特徴とする
複写機の原稿サイズ自動検知装置。
