もので、第１図は左側サイドミラーおよびその写
像を模式的に示した図、第４図は仮想線と車体と
の位置関係を示す説明図、第２図および第３図は
サイドミラーに設ける指標の他の実施例を示した
図、第５図は車両を後退で車庫入れする際の動作
を示す説明図である。 図中、１は後方確認装置、２はサイドミラーの
鏡面、３，３Ａ，３Ｂは指標、４はサイドミラー
、５はアーム、６，６ａは車体、７，７ａは車体
の後端、８は地平線、９，９ａは地表、１０は道
路端、１１ａ，１１ｂは車体後端の投影線、１２
ａ，１２ｂは仮想線である。

- 鏡面上の特定の水平位置を示す指標が設けられ
たサイドミラーを、当該サイドミラーの鏡面の前
記指標で指示される水平位置に地表への車両後端
の投影線から横に伸びる地表面上の仮想線が写影
されるように、車両に取りつけて成る、車両の後
方確認装置。
