PURPOSE:To align and convey a workpiece smoothly without incling them, by a method wherein an apparatus for conveying irregular-shaped long size members each having irregular portions between their both ends is provided with a pair of roller rails at the right and the left, a roller return device, and a roller supply lift, both ends of each of the workpieces being supported by rollers. CONSTITUTION:Each of irregular-shaped long size members P has both ends 10 supported between a plurality of rollers 9 of a similar diameter which are rotatively fitted in rails 3, the irregular-shaped portions 11, 12 of the member being positioned between the rollers 9, 9 at the right and the left. As a cylinder device 7 operates intermittently, the long size members P advance in rolling method, stop by striking against a stop member 6 and are taken out.
