(Background of the Invention) Conventionally, when cutting a plate material to be cut by a cutting device that is sensitive to scratches, such as a material that has already been surface-treated, an operator cuts the workpiece (the material to be cut) immediately before cutting. The materials to be cut (referred to as workpieces) are grasped by hand to prevent them from falling, stacked or otherwise aligned, and when a predetermined amount has been stacked, the operation of the cutting device is temporarily stopped and the materials are transferred onto a trolley. They were carrying out work such as transporting the products to the next process.

Following step bl, it is checked whether the contacts of limit switch 41 and limit switch 35 are on (step bz). Step b2 is provided to ensure safety and synchronization, and is
When the piston rod of the cylinder 14 is lowered to a predetermined position, it is confirmed that the piston rod of the cylinder 14 is at a predetermined forward position, that is, that the suction pad 16 is positioned on the workpiece 21 to be cut. In step b2, it is determined by the CPU 30 whether the contacts of the limit switches 35 and 41 are both in the on state or not by calculating the AND of the states of both contacts. If the contacts of the limit switches 35 and 41 are not in the ON state in step b2, before the cutting machine 2 starts cutting the material 11 to be cut, the suction pad 16 is placed opposite the part of the material 11 to be cut. If the workpiece 11 is cut in this state and the workpiece 11 has not reached this position, the cut workpiece 11 will be cut.
In other words, the workpiece 21 falls and is out of synchronization. In this state, following step b2, the solenoid 49 is energized (step e1), and then the solenoid 50 is energized (step e2). That is, by executing steps e1 and e2, the cutting machine 2 is controlled to be in a stopped state, the switch 42 is controlled to be in an OFF state, and the apparatus of this embodiment is controlled to be in a stopped state.

°0. continues to descend, and as the upper mold 1 oa descends, the protruding body 19 also descends, and the suction pad 16 comes into contact with the material to be cut 11 (see FIG. 4(b)), and then the material to be cut 11 is cut and the upper mold 1 oa is raised. Therefore, the workpiece 21 is in a state of being attracted by the suction band 16 immediately before the upper mold 1 oa rises, and will not fall even when cut.

By making sure that solenoid 45 is de-energized, cylinder 1
7, the operating air is switched and the piston rod of the cylinder 17 is moved backward. Following this retraction, a check is made to see if the contact of the limit switch 36 is turned on, and waits until the contact of the limit switch 36 is turned on, that is, the piston rod of the cylinder 17 comes to a predetermined retraction position (step b5). In step b4, when the upper die lOa reaches the predetermined position t, the workpiece 2
1 is pulled back while being attracted to the suction pad 16. This is because if the workpiece 21 is sucked by the suction pad 16 immediately after cutting and then retreated in the next state, the workpiece 21 will be removed from the upper die 10a.
This is because the workpiece 21 is difficult to retreat because the workpiece 21 has to be retreated before it is separated from the workpiece 21.

When the contact of the limit switch 36 is turned on in step bs, it is checked whether the contact of the discrimination switch 39 is turned on (step b6). In step b6, when the contact of the discrimination switch 39 is on, the workpiece 21 is being sucked by the suction pad 16, and when the contact is off, the workpiece 21 is not being suctioned by the suction pad 16. In other words, the workpiece 21 has been dropped. This is because when the workpiece 21 is being attracted, the vacuum level in the suction pad 16 interior is at a predetermined value due to the presence of the workpiece 21, whereas when there is no workpiece 21, the pressure in the suction pad 16 interior space is at a predetermined value. This is because the pressure is at atmospheric pressure despite the suction from the vacuum generator 17.

As the solenoid 47 was de-energized, the vacuum generator 17 was stopped, the adsorption of the workpiece 21 by the adsorption pad 16 was released, and the workpiece 21 was surrounded by the push plate 22 and the guide plates 24 and 25. Fall into the stacking space. In step b5, the piston rod of the cylinder 14 is at a predetermined retreat position, and the workpiece 21 is taken out to a position facing the stacking space, and when falling, it is guided by the push plate 22, guide plates 24 and 25, and is sequentially It will continue to accumulate.

During this movement, the contact plate 25-1 is pushed by the work 21 being transported and opens in the transport direction, so that it does not interfere with the transport of the work 21. Continuing to step d2, it is checked whether the contact of the limit switch 38 is in the on state or not.
Wait until the contact 38 of the limit switch 38 turns on, that is, until the piston rod of the cylinder 27 reaches a predetermined retracted position (step d3). When the contact 38 of the limit switch 38 is turned on in step d3, the work 21 has been conveyed beyond the contact plate 25-1, and the stacked works 21 are transferred to the contact plate 25-1.
It has been moved outside. step d
3, the contents of the counter area are cleared (step d4), and then the solenoid 46 is de-energized (step ds). Since the solenoid 49 is de-energized, the operating air to the cylinder 27 is switched, and the piston rod of the cylinder 27 is moved forward. By this forward movement, the push plate 22 is also moved in the direction of the cutting machine 2. Next, it is checked whether the contact point of the limit switch 37 is in the on state, and the contact point of the limit switch 37 is in the on state, that is, the cylinder 2
Wait until the piston rod No. 7 comes to a predetermined forward position (step ds). When the contact of the limit switch 37 is turned on, the push plate 22 has returned to its original position, and the space in which the workpieces 21 are stacked is again formed by the push plate 22 and guide plates 24 and 25. has been returned to. In this case, the electric plate 25-
