Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain immediately drinkable water when water is taken out after the titled water purifier is not used for a comparatively long period by arranging a sterilizer which is operated when a discharge of water is stopped at an upper space part, and furnishing a layer of a purifying material through which water can be passed from the upper and the lower surface at an intermediate part. CONSTITUTION:An untreated city water inflow port 2 and a purified water outflow port 3 are provided to the main body 1 of a water purifier for drinking water. The lower layer part in the main body is used as an untreated water inflow part, the intermediate layer part as the purifying agent-packed part, the upper layer part as the purified water storage part, and the upper space part as the sterilizing part. The untreated water inflow port 2 is provided to one side of the lower layer part, and the purified water outflow port 3 to one side of the upper layer part. Moreover, a sterilizer 10 such as an ozonizer which is operated when the discharge of water is stopped is furnished in the upper space part, and the layer of a purifying material 5a selected from activated carbon, zeolite, animal and vegetable proteins such as a degreased wool fiber body, etc. through which water can be passed from the upper and the lower surface is provided at the intermediate layer part. Consequently, propagation of bacteria in the water purifier when the operation of the purifier is stopped can be completely prevented, and drinkable water can be immediately taken out.

(1i! Rice Technology) In recent years, there has been a shortage of drinking water sources in the suburbs of cities, so even water sources that could not meet water quality conditions up until now have to be used as drinking water sources. In order to use these water sources as drinking water, it has become necessary to purify and kill water more than ever before, and to mix in large amounts of chlorine. Tap water contaminated with such a large amount of chlorine only increases the chlorine odor and is not suitable for drinking as water for enjoying luxury items such as coffee.

(Problem to be Solved by the Invention) However, although such water purifiers can dechlorinate water and provide good-tasting water, if the water purifier is stopped for a while, the dechlorination process will stop. Since the tap water loses its sterilizing effect, a large number of 21 bacteria grow in the water purifier, making it unsuitable for drinking and causing the water to spoil. A situation has already occurred. Therefore, such water can generate odors and cause food poisoning due to bacteria.

Purified tap water and other purified water do not contain chlorine, so bacteria can easily breed there. Therefore, bacteria can breed easily while the purified water is constantly flowing (i.e., during use).
21 inside the water purifier when the flow stops (when not in use)
Bacteria proliferate, and the proliferated germs will continue to proliferate unless sterilized. Bacteria that have entered the purification layer 5 during VF are difficult to sterilize because the flow of water stagnates within the purification layer. Layer 7.8 is allowed to form.

In particular, since the purified water in the clean water reservoir layer 7 that has passed through the purification layer 5 is water from which chlorine has been removed, the purified water itself has no sterilizing ability and bacteria are likely to breed there. 9
An ozone generator 10 that generates ultraviolet rays and is suspended in the space 1a irradiates the purified water in the clean water reservoir layer 7 with ultraviolet rays, generates ozone, and seals the generated ozone with the septic tank 5 and lid 9. This prevents ozone from being released outside. Therefore, ozone forms a MM killing agent to prevent bacteria that have invaded the surface of the water reservoir layer from further invading into the purification layer 5.

The lower water reservoir layer 8 that holds the purification M5 is located upstream of the purification M5, and in the case of tap water, it is filled with tap water that has not been dechlorinated by the purification layer 5, so it has no sterilizing ability. Even if bacteria invade this water reservoir layer 8, they will be sterilized by chlorine. Therefore, the lower water reservoir layer 8
A sterilizing layer is also formed. However, when the dissolved chlorine concentration is low or zero, such as in well water or natural water, the sterilization ability is low, so the bottom 4a of the septic tank 4
It is necessary to form the septic tank 4 from a transparent material such as lath and irradiate the inside of the lower water tank 8 from the outside of the septic tank 4 with an ultraviolet irradiator 12 to impart sterilizing ability. Moreover, the lid body 9
is screwed into the threaded part 4b on the upper part of the septic tank 4 and tightly sealed to prevent ozone from dissipating and fill from entering.

(Effects of the Invention) As described above in detail in the Examples and the like, the purified drinking water 4 of the present invention can be dechlorinated in the case of tap water, and can be used as water for enjoying luxury goods such as coffee. There is no chlorine odor and you can enjoy the delicious taste. In addition, it is possible to completely prevent the proliferation of 21 bacteria in the water purifier when the water purifier stops operating, and after the water purifier has been stopped for a relatively long period of time, the water purifier can be operated and the purified water taken out. However, it can be consumed immediately.
