図の正断面図に示すごとく、回転するドラムl内に貫通
した多数の蒸気管2に蒸気人口3から圧力回転接手9を
介して蒸気Sまたは熱水が送られ、これを熱源として被
乾燥物人口4からドラム1の回転軸周辺に設けられたフ
ィーダ5により供給された被乾燥物Mに伝熱させており
、そこで蒸発した水分はフィーダ5の周囲に配設された
キャリヤーガス人口6から導入された空気等のキャリヤ
ーガスGによりキャリヤーガス出ロアから系外に排気さ
れるようになっている。

の熱源であるため多量の熱ガスを要するので運転コスト
が高くなるという欠点があった。

の被乾燥物の下部よりキャリヤーガスを導入させること
により蒸気管による乾燥と共に、通気乾燥を併用させ、
乾燥速度を早めると共に、構造が簡単で、かつコンパク
トでしかも運転コストの安い通気併用型蒸気管付回転乾
燥機を提供することを目的としたものである。

路13Aを設けたり、また第3−C図の実施例3のごと
く、ドラム1を二重円筒にして仕切ったガス導入管路1
3Bを設けても良い。
