この電動送風機室に仕切り壁の通気部にて連通さ
れフイルターを装着する集塵室とを形成した掃除
機本体を下部本体ケースとこの下部本体ケースの
上面開口部を覆う上部本体ケースとにて構成し、 少なくとも前記下部本体ケースに電動送風機室
と集塵室を形成する仕切り壁を形成し、 前記下部本体ケースと上部本体ケースとに前記
仕切り壁の電動送風機室側にて電動送風機の上下
方向の中央近傍で前記電動送風機の吸込み面に対
向する通気開口を形成して互いに接合され電動送
風機の集塵室側と大気側とをシールするシール壁
をそれぞれ形成し、この上部本体ケースのシール
壁の集塵室側と下部本体ケース側の仕切り壁の電
動送風機側とに前記通気開口の左右両外側位置に
おいてそれぞれ垂直方向に互いに接合されるシー
ルリブをそれぞれ形成したことを特徴とした電気
掃除機。 (2) 前記下部本体ケースの仕切り壁に形成した
シールリブと上部本体ケースのシール壁のシール
リブとの少なくともいずれか一方の端縁を他方の
シール壁または仕切り壁に当接させたことを特徴
