Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform banking irrespective of the nature of a ground surface, by a method wherein a flexible coupling member, such as reinforcement, is coupled in a bending manner between the heads of piles which are driven in a netlike manner in a soft ground, and banking is effected on the pile heads and the coupling members through a sand mat and sheet. CONSTITUTION:Precast piles or cast-in-place piles 2, such as wood piles or reinforced concrete pile, are driven in a soft ground 1 in a state in that the pile heads are emerged from the soft ground 1. Flexible coupling members 3, such as reinforcement, are stretched in a netlike manner between heads 2a of the pile. The coupling members 3 are bent downward at an angle of about 30 deg.. A sand mat 4 is laid on the pile heads 2a and the coupling members 3, and banking 7 is effected thereon through the medium of a sheet 5 for civil engineering. This enables to perform banking irrespective of the nature of the soft ground, and permits transmission of a loaded load to a beam layer through prevention of transmission of the load to a ground surface.
