Conventionally, when manufacturing suede-like sheets, knitted fabrics or non-woven fabrics with an appropriate structure are raised,
After impregnating with urethane resin or the like, it is usually buffed. However, although the knitted fabrics and nonwoven fabrics used here have appropriate structures, various problems have occurred during napping because the fibers to be raised directly constitute the knitted fabrics and nonwoven fabrics. That is, since the fibers constituting the tissue were directly cut by the napping treatment, there was a tendency for a significant decrease in strength and shrinkage of the tissue. A method of multiplexing the structure has been used to prevent a decrease in strength, but the sheet-like material obtained in this case inevitably becomes thick. In addition, as a result of the tissue shrinkage due to raising, the fabric becomes thick, and when combined with the cutting of the fibers, a sheet-like product with a hard texture and poor elasticity can be obtained.

In view of the above-mentioned drawbacks, the present inventor conducted intensive research to obtain a suede-like sheet material that has a flexible texture, elasticity, and high strength. The inventors discovered that the object could be achieved by raising the knitted fabric, and completed the present invention.

A method for producing a suede-like sheet material characterized by performing a napping treatment and then dissolving and removing soluble fibers, or dissolving and removing soluble fibers and then performing a napping treatment, further comprising: (2) soluble fibers; The fibers are knitted and woven using a primary covering yarn in which the core yarn is coated with the fiber to be raised, and a secondary covering yarn in which the base fiber is coated, and then subjected to a raising treatment to dissolve and remove the soluble fibers. This is a method for producing a suede-like sheet material, which is characterized by dissolving and removing soluble fibers, performing a post-raising treatment, and further performing urethane processing and buffing.

The present invention distinguishes between the fibers to be raised to give a suede-like feel and the base fibers that constitute the structure and are responsible for the strength and other physical properties of the product, and yet integrates the two through soluble fibers. This is a method to obtain a suede-like sheet material that is flexible, highly elastic, and has sufficient strength by constructing a knitted fabric and raising it. The suede-like sheet material obtained by the present invention can be used as is for clothing, and can also be conveniently used as a base material for artificial leather.

The primary covering yarn is made of a soluble fiber as a core and is covered with the fiber to be raised in a spiral shape, and is further coated with a yarn having a sufficient yarn length for the base fiber (first covering yarn). By knitting and weaving with a secondary covering yarn), a knitted fabric with the surface layer of the fiber to be raised can be obtained. By dissolving and removing the soluble fibers after raising the knitted fabric, or by dissolving and removing the soluble fibers and then raising the knitted fabric, the effect of the clothing during raising is limited to the fibers to be raised, thereby reducing the strength and reducing the strength during raising. This makes it possible to obtain a suede-like sheet material that is flexible, highly elastic, and has sufficient strength while preventing thickening due to shrinkage. Furthermore, it can be made into artificial leather by applying urethane processing and buffing.

FIG. 1 shows a schematic diagram of the primary covering yarn 1. It has a structure in which the soluble fiber 2 is the core and the fibers 3 to be raised are covered in a spiral shape. FIG. 2 is a schematic diagram of the secondary covering yarn 4, which has a so-called double covering structure in which the base fiber 5 is the core and the primary covering yarn 1 is covered.

The fibers to be raised and the base fibers may be of any type as long as they are not damaged by soluble fiber solvents, such as polyester, polyamide, polyacrylonitrile fibers, cotton, wool, etc. The fibers to be raised and the base fibers may be of the same type or may be of different types. Soluble fibers refer to fibers that dissolve in water or inorganic or organic solvents, and those that dissolve in solvents that do not damage the fibers to be raised and the base fibers can be used.Water-soluble polyvinyl alcohol synthetic fibers that dissolve in water from the working surface It is convenient to use.

In the primary covering, the ratio of the fineness of the fiber to be raised to that of the core soluble fiber is
It is preferable to set the conditions and the combination of fibers so that the feed ratio of the fiber to be raised to the soluble fiber is 0.5 to 1.2 and 1.1 to 1.4. It is possible to use a conventional hollow spindle for the covering. The primary covering yarn thus obtained is used to further perform secondary covering on the base fiber, and the conditions at this time are such that the ratio of the fineness of the primary covering yarn to the fineness of the base fiber is 0.5. ~
1.2. It is preferable that the feed ratio of the primary covering yarn to the base fiber is set to be 1.1 to 1.4. This is because if the fineness ratio of the covering fiber to the core fiber is less than 0.5, no effect on napping can be expected, and if it exceeds 1.2, it becomes difficult to carry out covering. Further, if the feed ratio of the covering fiber to the core fineness is small, the raising effect will be poor, so it is preferable that the feed ratio be as large as possible, but if it is too large, the productivity will decrease, so a range of 1.1 to 1.4 is preferable. Note that during the first and second covering, it is also possible to cover a plurality of fibers to be the core.

When knitting, weaving, and raising the secondary covering yarn obtained as described above, the action of the clothing can be limited to only the primary covering yarn, and damage to the base fibers can be prevented. Furthermore, since the fibers to be raised have a sufficiently long yarn length compared to the base fiber, shrinkage during raising can be kept to a minimum. In addition, the fact that soluble fibers are dissolved and removed also has an effect on softening the texture.

Either the soluble fibers are dissolved and removed after being raised in this way, or the soluble fibers are dissolved and removed.
Knitted fabrics that have been brushed and then brushed can be used suitably for clothing, but they can also be dyed,
By performing urethane processing and buffing, it is possible to obtain a suede-like sheet material that has a soft texture, is rich in elasticity, and has excellent strength.
