クリユーと第2スクリユーの各部分のスクリユー
軸径が異なるから、対向する2つのスクリユーの
各部において第1スクリユーと第2スクリユーの
剪断速度に差異を生じさせることができ、2つの
スクリユー間で成形材料に強い剪断力を与えて成
形材料を均一に混合すると同時に強く混練するこ
とができるようにした2軸押出機のスクリユー構
造を提供するにある。

リユー3と第2スクリユー5の外周面には羽根部
9,10がそれぞれ略全長にわたつて螺旋状に突
設されている。第1スクリユー3の谷部になるス
クリユー軸4は先端側ほど径が小さくなるように
傾斜したテーパー状に形成されており、第2スク
リユー5のスクリユー軸6は基端側が先細になつ
ていてスクリユー軸4とは逆テーパー状に形成さ
れている。第1スクリユー3と第2スクリユー5
とを第1図のようにスクリユー軸4,6のテーパ
ー方向を反対方向にして長手方向を対向すると共
に羽根部9,10がかみ合うようにシリンダー2
内に回転自在に装着したり、第2図のように羽根
部9,10のピツチが大きい場合には羽根部9,
10が不完全にかみ合うように装着したり、第8
図のように羽根部9,10の外周面が互いに接す
るように装着して第1スクリユー3と第2スクリ
ユー5が押出機1に取付けられており、第1スク
リユー3のスクリユー軸4と第2スクリユー5の
スクリユー軸6の軸径は対向する位置で異なるよ
うになつている。しかして押出機1を使用して成
形するに当つて、ホツパーからシリンダー2内に
投入された固形状の合成樹脂の成形材料を回転す
る第1スクリユー3と第2スクリユー5で混合、
混練しながらダイ側へ移送し、ダイから溶融した
成形材料を押出して成形品を形成するものである
が、第1スクリユー3と第2スクリユー5のスク
リユー軸4,6の対向する部分の径は互いに異な
つているから、シリンダー2内の各部において第
1スクリユー3と第2スクリユー5間の剪断速度
に差を生じ、シリンダー2内の各部において第1
スクリユー3と第2スクリユー5の回転線速度が
異なるために成形材料は第1スクリユー3と第2
スクリユー5間及びパレル7と第1スクリユー3
及び第2スクリユー5間で2つのスクリユーの回
転運動に伴う強い剪断力を受け、成形材料は均一
