Abstract
PURPOSE: To measure a signal waveform precisely, to reduce the accumulation of residual magnetization in a core and to reduce the whole cost by forming a current transformer only by one core so that currents flowing into an ON circuit and an OFF circuit connected through the current transformer are reversed each other.
CONSTITUTION: An ON signal inputted to an ON signal terminal 12 flows into an ON signal circuit and then flows into a current transformer 22 in the ascending direction. The signal is processed by a time discriminating device 24 to discriminate whether the signal is normal or not, and when the signal is abnormal, the signal is outputted from a data output terminal 25. When an OFF command is applied to the OFF signal terminal 13 of a breaker kept at the ON status, the signal current flows into the current transformer 22 in the descending direction and the signal is processed by the time discriminating circuit 24 and then outputted from the data output terminal 25. Since the current transformer for detecting ON and OFF signal currents is used in common and penetration currents flowing into the current transformer are reversed each other, the circuit can be constituted economically, the residual magnetism of the current transformer can be removed and the reliability of the signal measurement can be improved.
