Abstract

PURPOSE:To calculate the residual amt. of slag in a blast furnace and to perform stable operation of the blast furnace in a stage for granulating the slag discharged from the blast furnace with water by observing the change in the current value of a screw conveyor for water-granulating and scraping-up. CONSTITUTION:Slag discharged from a blast furnace is granulated with water in the stage of a blast furnace operation. The amt. of the slag discharged per minute (Y) is calculated by the equation from the current value (SC current value) of a screw conveyor for water-granulating and scraping-up in said stage. In the equation, SC current value: the increased current value from the initial value (0), a: the inclination with the linear regression of the SC current value and the rate of water granulation and scraping-up, b: a constant. The tapping rate from a tap hole opening up to the optional point of time is integrated in accordance with said equation and the residual amt. of the slag in the furnace which is the difference between the cumulative tapping rate and the slag forming rate is controlled.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] The present invention provides blast furnace residue PII, management system, further details/
In the process of treating slag that has been used since 1990 to slag, the amount of slag discharged from moment to moment is determined from the relationship between the current value of the screw conveyor for scraping up slag and the amount of slag produced. The present invention relates to a blast furnace residue amount management system that enables efficient blast furnace operation by calculating the amount and determining the next time to start tapping based on the result.

In blast furnace operation, management of the amount of residual pig iron and residue in the furnace is essential from the perspective of maintaining and ensuring liquid permeability in the lower part of the furnace, and is an extremely important element to achieve safe blast furnace operation. However, among these factors, the amount of residual pig iron and the depth of the taphole have been controlled in the past, but regarding the amount of residual pig iron, there is no way to determine the amount of slag discharged with sufficient accuracy. It is difficult to control the amount of residue, and currently the amount of residue is not widely managed.

Under these circumstances, the inventors of the present invention conducted extensive research to manage the tapping from the blast furnace and achieve safer blast furnace operation. As a result, the inventors of the present invention have developed a method for treating the slag discharged from the blast furnace with slag. We discovered that there is a clear relationship between the current value of the screw conveyor for scraping up water slag and the amount of slag produced in the process.
By observing changes in the current value of the screw conveyor (hereinafter abbreviated as SC current value), it is possible to calculate the amount of slag output and, ultimately, the amount of slag in the blast furnace, and it is possible to achieve safer blast furnace operation. I learned this and completed the invention.

That is, according to the present invention, hot metal and slag are discharged from the lower part of the blast furnace, the hot metal and slag are separated, and then the slag is subjected to a known slag treatment equipment to be subjected to blowing treatment, water crushing treatment, and water crushing. When scraping up slag from a tank with a screw conveyor, there is a clear relationship between the current value in the motor of the screw conveyor (SC current value) and the amount of slag, so this relationship can be used to remove slag. By calculating the amount of blast furnace slag and comparing it with the calculated amount of slag,
can be managed.

FIG. 1 shows a flow sheet of a blowing section in the production of known blast furnace water slag slag. In Fig. 1, the slag discharged from the blast furnace is subjected to blowing treatment through blowing boxes (water) (1) and (2) (in the figure, (1Φ is the exhaust pipe), and then to the granulation gutter (3). After passing through the water pulverization tank (4), the water is subjected to sedimentation treatment in a sedimentation tank (5) equipped with a mud collector.
The supernatant liquid is pumped through the hot water tank (6), cooling tower (16), and cold water tank (7) with a water supply pump (8) into a blown box (water).
It is forwarded to (1). On the other hand, the granulated water settled in the settling tank (5) is sent to the next process by the belt conveyor (1 It is sent to a shipping facility according to the grain size and diameter of the granulation yard according to the conventional method.

According to the research conducted by the present inventors, in the water slag treatment process, the screw conveyor for scraping up sedimented debris from the slag tank (4) (the current value loaded on the motor of the turret, that is, the SC current value) It was found that there is a certain relationship between the amount of slag produced. In other words, the relationship between the SC current value and the amount of slag scraped up is as shown in Figure 2.The amount of slag scraped is The weight of granulated water in a wet state (tons: T) is shown.

By the way, all the slag discharged from the blast furnace in this system is granulated, and some of it flows into the settling tank, but the amount is extremely small and can be ignored from the perspective of slag volume control. be. Therefore, almost the entire amount of slag discharged from the blast furnace settles in the granulation tank and is scraped up by the screw conveyor, and the amount of slag scraped up in the dry state can be considered as the amount of slag discharged from the blast furnace.

Therefore, based on Figure 2, the amount of water being scraped up can be determined from the current value of the screw conveyor, and based on Figure 3, the amount of water content corresponding to the amount of scraping up can be determined.
You can know the amount of raking up per minute, that is, the amount of slag coming out.

Therefore, the amount of slag output (Y) (T/min) = sc current value x a
A formula expressed by +b is obtained. Here, a means the slope of linear regression of the relationship between the SC current value and the amount of raking, and b is a constant. For example, using Figures 2 and 3, Y
=0.0286x(SC current value)-I-1,927 is obtained. Next, since the amount of slag produced in the furnace from the opening of the taphole to that time (X) can be easily calculated from the composition and amount of charging, the amount of slag produced (Y) described above From the opening ['', it is possible to calculate the difference from the cumulative amount of slag accumulated up to that time (Yl, that is, the amount of slag in the furnace. In other words, the amount of slag (e)

By inputting the amount of slag in the furnace obtained in this way into a process computer, it becomes possible to monitor it from moment to moment, and if an excessive amount of slag remains in the furnace, important information for making decisions on blast furnace operation, such as speeding up the next tapping time, can be obtained. This enables efficient management of blast furnace operations.
