Abstract
PURPOSE:To reliably stop a motor in a short time by eliminating the supply of a rotating speed control signal to a motor in case of stopping the motor. CONSTITUTION:When a motor 2 is normally rotated, the output terminal 21 of a D-FF14 becomes L level, and when the motor 2 is reversely rotated, the output terminal 20 becomes H level. When the external terminal 9 is H level, an RS- FF21 is reset, a transistor 7 is OFF, and the motor 2 continues rotating. The normal or reverse rotating direction of the motor 2 depends upon the output of an EX-OR circuit 32 supplied to the input terminal 8 of the motor 2. In order to stop the normally rotating motor 2, the external terminal 9 is set to L level. The output level of the circuit 32 becomes H level, the rotation of the motor 2 is abruptly attenuated, and the motor 2 starts reversely rotating. Thus, the output terminal 20 of the D-FF14 becomes H level, the RS-FF21 is set, and the transistor 7 is set ON, and the motor 2 is stopped.
