Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the worker's fatigue and as well to aim at enhancing the efficiency of working in an automobile assembling factory or the like, by provid a working vehicle which may moves in synchronizm with a conveyor in a conveyor working system while the vehicle carrying thereon component parts and the worker. CONSTITUTION:By operating a control valve 14 in a control device 12 compressed air from a compressed air source is fed to an air cylinder 11 through an air-hose 16, an air inlet port 15 and the control device 12. Then by extending an engaging piece 9 coupled to the air cylinder 11 a working vehicle 1 is syschronizedly engaged with a conveyor in a conveyor working system at a suitable position thereof. Thereby, the working vehicle 1 advances in the direction as indicated by the solid line in synchronizm with the conveyor. During this period the worker may take out necessary tools and cmponent parts form tool and part shelves 2, 3 to assemble an automobile on the conveyor. After completion of necessary working the control valve 14 is reversedly operated to retract the engaging piece 9, and then adrive device is operated by means of the control valve 13 to rotate a drive wheel 4, thereby the vehicle moves backward.

Conventionally, in repetitive assembly work at automobile assembly plants, workers move to follow the movement of an assembly line conveyor carrying the automobiles being assembled, and the workers move between the conveyor and the necessary equipment for the work. This is a major problem in this type of assembly work, as the worker must walk back and forth many times between parts and tool racks, causing severe fatigue from walking.

In order to reduce the fatigue of the workers mentioned above, a passenger conveyor on which the worker rides has been used in some cases. This man conveyor is effective in reducing fatigue caused by walking when workers are doing net work such as attaching parts to cars, etc., but it is also effective in reducing fatigue caused by walking when workers are doing work such as attaching parts to cars, etc. For incidental work such as changing tools, the operator must rely on the worker's walking, which makes it ineffective, and the manual conveyor also has the drawback of high equipment costs.

In the figure, reference numeral 1 is a truck body, and this truck body 1
A tool stand 2 and a parts shelf 3 are installed on one side of the top, and a portion 1a on which an operator rides is formed on the other side. A drive wheel 4 and a driven wheel 5 are attached to the truck body 1, and the driven wheel 5 is supported and guided on a rail section laid on a factory floor 6 along a not-shown assembly line conveyor. On the other hand, the drive wheels 4 are arranged so as to directly ground on the factory floor 6 or on the rails 7 to obtain frictional driving force, and are driven by air pressure such as an air motor connected to drive the drive wheels 4. A device 8 is mounted on the truck body 1. Further, on one side of the truck body 1, an engager 9 for synchronized traveling of the truck is disposed to removably engage with the assembly line conveyor. It is supported so that it can move forward and backward in a direction perpendicular to the traveling direction of the truck, and is connected to an air cylinder 11 fixed to the truck body 1. A control device 12 is fixed to the truck body 1, and the drive device 8 is controlled via a control valve 13 provided in the control unit 12, and the air cylinder 11 is controlled via a control valve 14.
are in communication with the air intake port 15, respectively. This air intake port 15 is communicated with a compressed air source (not shown) through a flexible air hose 1G, and a portion of the air hose 1G is connected to a hose running rail 17 disposed parallel to and above the rail 7 via a hose hanger 18. It is suspended. Note that the hose hanger 18 is supported by the hose running rail 11 so as to be movable along the longitudinal direction of the rail 17. In addition, at the position corresponding to the forward end of the bogie of rail 1,
A mounting base 19 is fixed, and a stopper 20 is pivotally attached to the mounting base 19 so as to be rotatable on a horizontal plane, and the stopper 20 is linked to the mounting base 19 via a spring 22. Correspondingly, a control valve 21 is fixed to the front end of the truck body 1, which operates the air cylinder 11 in the retracting direction of the engager 9 by contact with the stopper 20.

The work trolley of the embodiment configured as described above is configured to operate the control valve 14 of the control device 12 to connect the air cylinder 11 from the compression chamber to the air source via the air hose 1G, the air intake port 15, and the control device 12. compressed air is supplied to the air cylinder 11, and the engaging element 9 connected to the air cylinder 11 is advanced and engaged with a suitable position on the assembly line conveyor. In this way, the truck body 1 is pulled by the assembly line conveyor and moves forward in the direction of the solid line arrow in the figure in synchronization with the conveyor. In this state, an operator rides on the platform-shaped main body 1 and performs necessary work on the automobile or the like being assembled on the conveyor. After this work is completed, the control valve 14 is reversely operated to reversely operate the air cylinder 11, thereby retracting the engager 9 and releasing the towing of the truck body 1 by the conveyor. Next, when the drive device 8 is operated by operating the control valve 13 of the control device W12, the drive wheels 4 rotate and the truck body 1 moves backward in the direction of the broken line arrow in the figure, returning to the work starting position. Note that the air hose 16 moves along the hose running rail 1 following the above-described running of the truck body 1.

Furthermore, when the truck body 1 moves forward to the forward end of the rail 1 during work, the control valve 21 is pushed and operated by the stopper 2o, and the near cylinder 11 is reversely operated to automatically retract the engager 9. , it is possible to release the synchronized running of the trolley body 1 by the conveyor, and it functions as a safety device.

Since the trolley body 1 is equipped with a tool stand 2 and a parts shelf 3, the operator can use the tools and parts placed on these beforehand to carry out the required work while remaining on the trolley body 1. There is no need to go back and forth from the conveyor to a place far away to pick up the items needed for such work.

In addition to being able to be used in the same way as the conventional man conveyor mentioned above, the work trolley of this embodiment can be used in the same way as the conventional man conveyor mentioned above. Combined with the fact that the H8 system allows the trolley body 1 to self-propel to any work starting position and return to the desired position, the walking distance and time of the worker are shortened, reducing worker fatigue and improving work efficiency. improves.

As explained above, the work trolley of the present invention can cause the engaging element provided on the trolley body to engage with the assembly line conveyor and cause the trolley body to run in synchronization with the conveyor, and the engagement element of the engaging element can be caused to travel in synchronization with the assembly conveyor. It is possible to release the main body of the trolley and return it to the position before the start of synchronous travel by driving the drive wheels using the drive device installed on the main body of the trolley. In addition, the main body of the trolley has a part such as a tool stand and a parts shelf to place items necessary for work. Because the worker can ride on the trolley body, the distance and distance the worker has to walk during work is shortened, reducing worker fatigue and improving work efficiency. Furthermore, since an air cylinder is used for engaging and disengaging the engaging element, and the driving device is driven by compressed air, there is an advantage that it can be provided easily and at low cost.

In addition, in the past, it was difficult to use pokayoke devices and automatic parts supply devices in assembly lines of automobiles because the electric wires and hoses for supplying parts were too long, but the trolley body of the present invention incorporates these devices. By installing the device, it is possible to run in synchronization with the conveyor, so the distance between the device and the workpiece can be kept constant and very short, which has the advantage of being easy to use.
