Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent surely power from being left connected after the end of broadcast by extracting a signal of a prescribed band from a horizontal synchronizing signal so as to confirm the broadcast state and discriminating it as the end of broadcast when a detection signal is not obtained for a prescribed time or over so as to turn off the power. CONSTITUTION:A synchronizing signal separated by a video detection/amplifier circuit section 31 is separated further into a vertical synchronizing signal and a horizontal synchronizing signal at a synchronous separating section 32. Further, a signal of 15.75kHz is extracted from the horizontal synchronizing signal by a band pass filter 40 and a synchronizing signal detecting circuit 41 monitors the signal of 15.75kHz. On the other hand, an oscillator section 42 is kept oscillated at all times when a power of a TV receiver is supplied so as to drive a counter circuit section 43. Further, when the detection circuit 41 detects a signal, the counter circuit section 43 is kept reset and when the broadcast is finished and the signal is lost, the circuit section 43 makes counts and disconnects power after the count of prescribed number.

In order to solve these problems, the present invention provides a TV receiver that eliminates the trouble of setting the timer and eliminates the need to forget to turn off the power supply. The features of the present invention are In the television receiver, a part of the horizontal synchronization signal is passed through a high-pass filter to extract a predetermined second synchronization signal. It has a reference oscillation circuit and an oscillation detection circuit that monitors the presence or absence of the second synchronization signal, and when the output of the oscillation detection circuit reaches a certain level, the output of the reference oscillation circuit is switched to the next one. This is an automatic power cut-off device that cuts off the power to the television receiver when the count value is input to the counting circuit of the stage and reaches a count value predetermined in the counter and designation section.

FIG. 2 shows an embodiment of the present invention in a block diagram of a portion of a TV receiver. In the same figure, the part inside the broken line is a block diagram of a portion of the TV receiver.
In the figure, the synchronization signal separated from the video signal by the video detection/amplification circuit section 31 is further divided into a vertical synchronization signal and a horizontal synchronization signal by the synchronization separation circuit section 32. The separated vertical synchronization signal passes through the vertical oscillation circuit section 33, vertical amplifier circuit section 34, and vertical output circuit section 35 to the vertical deflection coil, and the horizontal synchronization signal passes through the automatic frequency control circuit section 36 and the horizontal oscillation circuit section 37. , are outputted to the horizontal deflection coil via the horizontal amplifier circuit section 38 and the horizontal output circuit section 39, respectively.

In the present invention, a 15.75 kHz signal is extracted from a horizontal synchronization signal separated by a synchronization separation circuit section 32 using a band pass filter 40, and a 15.75 kHz signal is extracted from the horizontal synchronization signal separated by a synchronization signal detection circuit section 41 for 15 seconds.
The oscillator unit (hereinafter referred to as 08C) 42 monitors the 75 kHz signal and oscillates while the TV receiver is powered on.The counter circuit unit 43
When a 15.75 kHz signal enters the synchronization signal detection circuit 41, it is reset, and when there is no signal (when the broadcast ends), the reset state is released and 0804
