Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform continuous excavation of a trench by a method in which a drum-shaped cutter is pivotally supported on the front of a traveler in a freeing rising and falling manner, and a conveyer to carry excavated soil to the back side of the vehicular body is attached through a soil discharge chute to the downside of the cutter in a reciprocally movable manner. CONSTITUTION:A traveler 2 having endless tracks 1 on both sides is connected with a vehicular body 3 on its back side, having a recession on its front side. A drum-shaped cutter 6 is provided with a spiral blade 4 and many picks 5, and the cutter 6 is fixed to a cutter arm 7 on the back end. The arm 7 is also pivotally supported in a freely rising and falling manner by a rising and falling cylinder 9 through a pivotal shaft 8 on the vehicular body. A chute 10 for inductively discharging soil is fixed to the arm 7 in the face of the downside surrounding of the cutter 6. The discharge conveyer 11 which is raised and inclined from the lower end of the chute 10 to the rear of the body 3 is attached in a freely movable manner to the longitudinal direction of the conveyer.

Conventionally, in order to bury communication cables, power transmission cables, piping, etc. along the side of the road, the width of 0.5 to 1 m and the depth of 1 to 1 m are buried.
2m trenches are often excavated continuously. Currently, when excavating this trench, an endless chain trencher is used.
It is used as a backhoe, etc. However, in the former case, the excavation force is small and the earth removal work remains as secondary work, and in the latter case, continuous work is impossible and the earth is removed to the side, making it difficult for transportation. There is a problem that the width of blocking is large.

Furthermore, trench excavators have been known that are equipped with a long drum cutter that has a large number of holes fixed in a spiral arrangement around a rotating drum. Therefore, there is a problem in that the vik is constantly excavating in the excavated waste, which significantly reduces the excavation ability and causes severe wear on the vik, making it uneconomical.

A discharge conveyor 11 consisting of a belt conveyor extending obliquely downward from the rear to the front is disposed at the rear of the vehicle body rack. A wire rope 19 is supported movably in the longitudinal direction of the conveyor by a conveyor belt 17, and is let out from a winch 18 fixed to the rear upper part of the car body A. The wire rope 19 passes through a guide sheave 20 attached to the car body lower part, and then passes through the lower end of the frame 16. The winch 18 moves the discharge conveyor 11 up and down in the longitudinal direction of the conveyor. Further, a descending restriction stone 21 is fixed to the frame 16.

When trenches are continuously excavated by the continuous trench excavator of the embodiment, a recess for inserting the drum-shaped cutter 6 and the lower part of the discharge conveyor 11 is excavated at the starting point of square trench excavation;
The drum-shaped cutter 6 is disposed in the recess so as to be inclined diagonally downward toward the front, and the discharge conveyor 11 is disposed in the recess.
is lowered and the lower part of the discharge conveyor 11 is placed in the recess so as to be close to the lower part of the discharge port 15 of the chute 10. Next, while rotating the drum cutter 6 and operating the discharge conveyor 11, the groove is cut. Move the excavator forward. In this way, the drum type cutter 6 excavates the earth and sand in the front part, and the excavated earth and sand 1 is sent to the chute 10 at the rear of the drum type cutter B, and is moved along the chute 10 by the spiral blade 4. It falls on the belt 22 of the discharge conveyor 11, and is conveyed diagonally upward toward the rear by the belt 22, and is then transported from the discharge conveyor 11 to a relay conveyor (not shown) to be loaded into the trunk. It will be done.

According to this invention, the stag arm 7 is tilted diagonally downward toward the front by the fluid pressure cylinder 9, and
By lowering the discharge conveyor 11 and placing the lower part of the discharge conveyor 11 at the lower part of the discharge port 15 of the guided discharge chute 10, by moving the groove excavator forward, the drum type cutter 6 of the canter arm 7 While the trench is continuously excavated, the excavated earth and sand is guided by a guide and discharge 7 ute 10 and supplied to a discharge conveyor 11, and the earth and sand is continuously discharged to the rear upper part by the discharge conveyor 11. Since the earth and sand excavated by the pick 5 immediately fall from the excavation part and are discharged, the pick does not excavate in the excavated waste, which improves the excavation ability and reduces wear of the pick 5. It is economical because the amount of noise can be reduced, and furthermore, since the entire canter arm 7 and the entire discharge conveyor 11 can be moved above the ground surface, effects such as the ability to travel and transport the continuous trench excavator without any hindrance can be obtained.
