Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce power by releasing the back pressure in crank chamber through a pressure regulation valve upon reaching of the delivery pressure to predetermined level then communicating between each compression chamber through separating force functioning onto a turning scroll and performing no- load operation.
CONSTITUTION: Upon reaching of the pressure in an oil separation tank 12 to predetermined level under compressive operation, same pressure is brought into a delivery piping 19 and fed through pilot piping 31 to the pilot section 30A of normal-close pressure regulation valve 30 provided in the way of back pressure flow-out piping 29 thus to close a valve 30. Consequently, the pressure in the crank chamber 10 is discharged through said piping 29 and valve 30 to lower the pressure in said chamber 10. As a result, pushing force against a turning scroll 4 will decrease and the separating force to be functioned onto said scroll 4 by the pressure in the compression chamber 7 will increase thus to make the axial sealing performance of turning roll 4 against a fixed roll 6 ineffective and to communicate between each compression chamber to bring no-load operation resulting in considerable reduction of power.
