More specifically, the present invention relates to an antifreeze solution that is used as a coolant for an automobile engine and is effective in maintaining functions of an automobile engine's cooling system, such as rust prevention and corrosion prevention, even at low glycol concentrations. Conventionally, coolants for liquid-cooled internal combustion engines, such as automobile engines, have been made mainly of alcohols or glycols to prevent freezing, and various corrosion inhibitors have been added to this to provide antifreeze and anticorrosion properties. Antifreeze is used. Commonly used alcohols include methyl alcohol, ethyl alcohol, and isopropyl alcohol, and glycols include ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, hexylene glycol, and glycerin, either singly or in combination. Among these, antifreeze containing ethylene glycol as a main ingredient is particularly used as a coolant in the cooling system of an automobile engine. In the case of ethylene glycol aqueous solution, -15 at 30% by volume
, 5°C, 50% by volume provides antifreeze effect up to -37.0°C. Alcohols or glycols are oxidized by contact with air, producing acidic alcohol or glycol oxides. Under high temperature conditions of 50 to 100°C, the production of alcohol or glycol oxides is further promoted. These acidic alcohols or glycols significantly accelerate the corrosion of various metals constituting the cooling system of an internal combustion engine, especially an automobile engine. Corrosion of various metals constituting the cooling system of an internal combustion engine causes a decrease in thermal conductivity due to deposition of corrosion products or blockage of radiator pipes, causing engine overheating. Antifreeze solutions containing alcohols or glycols as their main components have a corrosion inhibitor added to them because the alcohols or glycols themselves have no anticorrosion effect. As anticorrosive agents, borax, sodium nitrite, phosphoric acid, phosphates, silicates, sodium benzoate 1, mercaptobenzothiazolezotriazole, tolyltriazole, triethanolamine, jetanolamine, monoethanolamine, At least one selected from triisopropanolamine, diisopropanazine, monoisopropanazine, cyclohexylamine, ethylenediamine, hydrazine, pyridine, morpholine, etc. is added. Representative among these are borax, triethanolamine phosphate, sodium benzoate, sodium nitrite, and sodium silicate. Borax has been widely used as an effective anti-corrosion agent for cast iron engines.
In recent years, as aluminum parts have been adopted as automobile parts are made lighter in order to conserve resources and energy, it has become a problem that aluminum parts have shortcomings in corrosion resistance. When an ethylene glycol aqueous solution containing borax is used in the cooling system of an automobile engine, it corrodes the aluminum alloy that is the material of the engine's cylinder head and cylinder block, and the corrosion products can clog the radiator. Are known. In recent years, there has been a trend to refrain from using borax. On the other hand, triethanolamine phosphate has excellent anticorrosion properties for iron-based and aluminum materials, and has been used as an anticorrosive agent in place of iron sand, but later the coexistence of triethanolamine and nitrite produces nitrosamines. It has been reported that the coexistence of amines and nitrites should be avoided. Sodium benzoate alone cannot be expected to be effective enough to replace these anticorrosive agents. On the other hand, sodium silicate is also effective as a corrosion inhibitor, but there is a problem in that sodium silicate tends to gel and separate during long-term storage. That is, the object of the present invention is to provide excellent corrosion protection to all metals that make up the engine cooling system, such as aluminum, cast iron, steel, brass, copper, and solder, even at low glycol concentrations, without containing nitrites. Our goal is to provide antifreeze that exhibits its properties. As a result of extensive studies, the inventors of the present invention achieved the objective by creating an antifreeze solution containing alkanolamine phosphate, mercaptobenzothiazole soda, molybdate or tungstate, benzotriazole or methylbenzotriazole, and borax. I was able to achieve this. The present invention relates to an antifreeze solution containing glycols, water, alkanolamine phosphate, mercaptobenzothiazole soda, molybdate or tungstate, benzotriazole or methylbenzotriazole, and borax. . Although the antifreeze solution of the present invention contains borax, it does not cause corrosion of the heat transfer surface of aluminum and exhibits sufficient anticorrosion effect even when used at a low glycol concentration. As the alkanolamine according to the present invention, triethanolamine, jetanolamine, monoethanolamine, triisopropanolamine, diisopropanolamine, monoisopropanolamine, etc. are used. Sodium salts, potassium salts, etc. can be used as molybdates and tungstates. The antifreeze of the present invention may contain other corrosion inhibitors, scale inhibitors, antifoaming agents, and the like. Other corrosion inhibitors that can be used include nitrates, silicates, vanadates, benzoates, p-tert-butylbenzoates, and phthalates. As is clear from the results of Examples and Comparative Examples described below, the antifreeze of the present invention contains alkanolamine phosphate, mercaptobenzothiazole soda, molybdate or tungstate, benzotriazole or methylbenzotriazole, and borax. By doing so, it suppresses corrosion on the heat transfer surface of aluminum and has an excellent metal corrosion prevention effect even at low concentrations. However, the content of the above corrosion inhibitors in the stock solution of antifreeze is 1.2% or more of alkanolamine, 0.3% or more of phosphoric acid, 0.1% or more of mercaptobenzodeazole soda, molybdate or Tungstate 0.1ml 1% or more,

``'''''・Next, the antifreeze of the present invention will be explained in more detail with reference to comparative examples and examples, but the present invention is not limited thereto.
