Embedded in the ceiling, it has an intake duct and an air outlet.
In a ceiling-embedded air conditioner in which the open ends of both ducts are provided on the ceiling surface, all the air for intake is drawn into the air conditioner from outside air through the ceiling. , and exchanges heat with cold and hot water passing through a heat exchanger, and is blown into the room through a duct, or a certain amount of outside air can be taken in. However, the above intake amount cannot be controlled individually, and the intake of all outside air in the former case increases the load on the air conditioner, which is undesirable from an energy saving perspective. The outside air intake has the disadvantage that the intake cannot be controlled.

There is. Reference numeral 5 indicates an air intake port on the main body, which is provided on one side of the heat exchange chamber 2 and connected to an indoor air intake port 6 provided on the ceiling surface of the room via a suction duct 7; The main body air outlet 11, which is connected and communicated with the air outlet 9 through the air outlet duct 10, is a ventilation chamber housing a second blower 12, and is located on one side of the heat exchange chamber 2, and is either opened in the ceiling or connected to the duct. In either case, an outside air intake port 13 communicating with the outside air is provided side by side on the main body intake port 6 side. Reference numeral 14 denotes an air outlet arranged in line with the main body air outlet 8 of the heat exchange chamber 2, and this air outlet 14 is provided with a shutter 16 for opening and closing. The blowout duct 10 connects the main body blowout port 8 and the blowout port 14 on the side of the blowing chamber 11 so that they communicate with each other. 16 is a partition plate that defines the ventilation chamber 11 and the heat exchange chamber 2; 17 is a connection port for cold and hot water piping; and 18 is a dew pan provided below the heat exchanger 3.

Air flowing in from the indoor air inlet 6 on the surface flows through the suction duct 7, the heat exchanger 3° and the outlet duct 10, and cold or warm air is blown out from the indoor air outlet 9 on the ceiling. On the other hand, air that has flowed in from the outside air intake port 13 is blown out from the air outlet 14, merges with the air that has passed through the heat exchanger 3, flows to the indoor air outlet D9, and takes in a portion of the outside air.

A first blower, a main body intake port communicating with the suction duct, a main body air outlet communicating with the blow-off duct, and a main body air blowing chamber side.
A second blower, an outside air intake, an air outlet provided with a shutter, and an air outlet duct connected to this air outlet and the main body air outlet are provided to provide air conditioning, air conditioning by outside air intake, outside air cooling, etc. Since the ceiling-embedded air conditioner is configured to be able to perform air conditioning according to the requirements, outside air intake can be controlled individually, the load on the air conditioner is small, and outside air cooling can be performed without using a heat source. Therefore, it exhibits effects such as greatly contributing to energy conservation.
