Abstract

PURPOSE:To select transmission of a video signal from a terminal device to a television receiver and to enable use of one common terminal device by giving a reception control signal to a control part from an auxiliary remote control mechanism of plural television receivers. CONSTITUTION:A terminal device 7 converts a receiving signal in terms of frequency at every channel by a convertor 14 and gives video signals of a selected channel to respective auxiliary remote control mechanisms 8-10 through branching circuits 16 and 18. Control signals from remote operation control parts 21, 24 and 27 are given to a terminal 7 from said mechanisms 8-10, and a control part 15 is controlled, thereby operating channel selection by remote control. It is assumed that after the desired channel is viewed through a television receiver 11 in some room, for instance, a room 5, a viewer move to a room 4. At this time of the power source of the television receiver 11 is turned off the and the power source of a television receiver 12 is turned on. As a result, the auxiliary remote control mechanism 9 allows channel selection.
