Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate a work, by a method wherein agitating blades, unfolded and folded along with mechanical relative movement between an inner pipe and an outer pipe, are attached to the interior of the window part of an excavating head mounted to the forward end of the outer pipe through the medium of a link. CONSTITUTION:When an excavating head 5, being in a condition to fold blades, and a rod part R are rotated and excavated down to a given depth, and a stopper 12, mounted to the upper part of a boring machine 10, a swivel 13 are attached to the upper and part of an inner pipe 1. When an outer pipe 2 of the rod part R is lifted up by means of a drill head 11 as it is rotated, the inner pipe 1 is stopped with the aid of the stopper 12 through the medium of the swivel 13, and as the outer pipe 2 is lifted up, the inner pipe 1 is relatively depressed to unfold agitating blades 4. After the necessary number of rods is connected, excavation and agitation are conducted by the use of the agitating blades 4 as an improving agent is injected to the vicinity of the agitating blades 4 through the discharge port of the excavating head 5.
