This would create an extremely dangerous situation, and it would be necessary to replace the exterior wall materials with new ones. Conventionally, when renovating a building, the old exterior wall materials were first removed from the entire surface of the building, and then the new exterior wall materials were installed on top of that. When stripping off the old exterior wall materials, it made a lot of noise and caused pollution by scattering dust into the surrounding area, and it also took a long time to renovate. In order to solve this problem, for example, as shown in Tokukan Sho 52-55225, the old external wall materials of wooden buildings are left without being removed from the building framework, and appropriate supporting metals are placed on top of them. There are construction examples in which new exterior wall materials are installed through the roof, but since the watertightness of wooden buildings is ensured by the tiled roof at the top, the above construction example eliminates the risk of water leakage. However, in the case of Jinyaro type buildings such as reinforced concrete buildings, the top of the building, the cap, is exposed to the wind and rain the most and is usually severely weathered, corroded, or stained. It is not possible to ensure sufficient water-resistance with only this construction method. In other words, when building this kind of reinforced steel or steel-framed concrete, the old exterior wall material is removed from the building body, the old cap is removed, and new exterior wall materials and new caps are installed on top of this. Although there is not much of a problem, if the old exterior wall material is left without being removed from the building body and a new exterior wall material is installed on top of it, it is natural that the new exterior wall material will extend from the old Kasagi part to the outdoor side. Because there is a large amount of protrusion, even if watertight treatment is applied between the top end of the new exterior wall material and that of the old exterior wall material using a sealing material such as caulking material, the area between the old and new exterior wall materials from the old Kasagi part,
Alternatively, rainwater entered the building frame from the attachment point of the supporting hardware that supports the new exterior wall material, causing water to leak indoors in a short period of time. In view of this, the present invention does not remove the old exterior wall material from the building, but leaves the old exterior wall material in the building and installs a new exterior wall material on the outside so that the old exterior wall material covers the old exterior wall material. At the same time, the above-mentioned pollution is eliminated and the number of days required for renovation work is significantly reduced by devising a unique method for rain protection at the top of the exterior wall material. For example, as shown in Figure 1, the exterior wall material 1 of an existing building frame A whose exterior walls are tiled is replaced with a new exterior wall material 2, such as curtain wall or spandrel (trade name), as shown in Figure 2. When replacing, the present invention is to attach a cap mounting member 4, which is a relatively long support hardware, to the old cap board part 3, which is the top wall of the old exterior wall material 1 in the building frame A, in the longitudinal direction of the top wall, as shown in FIG. They are arranged at required intervals and fixed with a foundation shield inserting punch (for example, Holin Anchor, trade name) 5.
