Abstract

PURPOSE:To mold an item having a beautiful appearance and a smooth surface, by placing a plastic, which consists of an inexpensive material and has been melted, on a quality plastic that has been heated to its softening temperature. CONSTITUTION:A first plastic 12 that will be used as the surface material of the desired molded item 1 consists of a quality plastic such as ABS resin or the like, is heated to its softening temperature of 140 deg.C, and is put between a bottom force 2 and a plate holder 10. Then a second plastic 13 that consists of an inexpensive nylon having glass fibres therein is melted by heating it to about 280- 290 deg.C and is put on the first plastic 12. Then a top force 5 is lowered, and a plate holder 6 holds the periphery of the first plastic 12 under a certain force. Subsequently, the top force 5 is lowered to its lower limit against the upward energized force of a piston 8, and a punch 7 cooperates with a die 3 of a bottom force 2 to laminate the first and second plastics 12, 13 to mold the item 1.

Conventionally, when producing molded products by pressure molding plastics, in order to form rough-shaped protrusions such as bosses or ribs on the molded products, the plastic is heated to a melting temperature of 1 degree and then placed on the mold at a constant temperature. It was injected and pressure molded. However, since the part in contact with the metal plate 11 is cooled and hardened, the hardened part remains as it flows into the mold during molding, forming a striped pattern called cooling marks or 70-marks.
Even if the surface was painted, these marks would appear and spoil the appearance. Furthermore, when molded from plastic mixed with a reinforcing material such as glass fiber to increase the strength of the molded product, the reinforcing material appears on the surface, which also has the disadvantage of impairing the appearance. In order to eliminate these drawbacks, after molding the thermosetting expanded fat in 1-1 molding, the upper mold is raised and a thermoplastic resin such as polyurethane is supplied to the surface of the molded product, and pressure is applied again to make it smooth. There is an in-mold cope ink molding method that coats the surface, but it has the drawbacks of being cumbersome to operate, requiring a lot of processing time, and having low production efficiency.

The purpose of the present invention is to eliminate these drawbacks and to create a molded product with a smooth surface, beautiful appearance, and reduced processing time by overlapping and press-molding the plastic that will be the surface of the molded product and the plastic that will be the back or inside of the molded product. The object of the present invention is to provide a plastic molding method that can reduce the cost of the molded product by using inexpensive plastic on the back side or inside.

Next, we will discuss the effect. In Fig. 1, the upper mold (5) descends to its plate valve (6) at the lower limit due to constant pressure air being supplied from the bow 1- (101), and the lower mold (2) shows the state in which the plate valve (6) is in contact with the

To make it look beautiful, it is made of high-quality plastic such as ABS and heated to a softening temperature of about 1.40°C.

The heating temperature is slightly increased or decreased depending on the degree of bending of the molded product (1). In addition, the second plastic (13) is a molded product (
For the back side of 1), we use glasstic, which is a nylon resin with a reinforcing phase such as glass fiber, at 280° to 29°.
It is heated to a melting temperature of about 0'C. If glass fiber or the like is mixed in at a rate of about 40% or more, it can be supplied by piercing it with a needle after heating, but if it is only plastic, it can be supplied by injection. Usually, a boss or rib is provided on the back side of the molded product (1), and the plastic is heated to a melting temperature so that it spreads throughout the neck of the molded product to improve its flow. The first and second glass sticks (

The first plastic (12) is then placed on top of the second piece and molded in the same manner as described above. The first plastic (12) is plate-shaped and is bent at a softening temperature, so that it fits well on the surfaces of the die (3) and punch (7) and has a smooth and smooth surface. Moreover, if a desired pigment is mixed into the first plastic (12), painting of the surface can be omitted.
