Abstract

PURPOSE:To reliably issue an alarm under an asleep-drive condition even during the travel on a curved road, etc. by providing an absolute steering angle arithmetic means calculating the absolute steering angle against the neutral position of the steering. CONSTITUTION:A non-steering detecting means 6 detects that the steering duration with a predetermined steering angle or less measured by a duration detecting means 3 based on the steering signal outputted from a steering detecting means 10 exceeds a reference time preset by a non-steering judgment reference time setting means 4 in response to the absolute steering angle against the neutral position of the steering calculated by an absolute steering angle arithmetic means 2 based on the steering signal, thus detecting that the steering is under a non-steering condition, and an alarm means 7 is operated when a quick-steering detecting means 8 detects the quick steering.
